RESISTANCE

CORROSION RESISTANCE

HEAT RESISTANCE
- Demonstrates excellent oxidation resistance in intermittent service in air at temperatures up to 1040°C and 1150°C in continuous service.
- Provides good resistance to thermal fatigue and cyclic heating.
- Widely used in applications where *** dioxide gas is present at elevated temperatures.
- Continuous use in the 425-860°C range is not recommended due to carbide precipitation, particularly if subsequent aqueous corrosion resistance is required.
- Typically employed at temperatures starting from approximately 800 or 900°C, beyond the effective range of 304H and 321 grades.
