RESISTANCE

CORROSION RESISTANCE

• Continuous use in the 425-860°C range is not recommended if subsequent aqueous corrosion resistance is required due to carbide precipitation.

• Favored in heat treatment and process industries due to its high-temperature and corrosive environment capabilities.
• Often fabricated into complex structures with ease.

• Due to 310 work-hardening, severe forming operations should be followed by annealing.

• Considered to have weldability similar to 304 and 304L.
• Special consideration is required to compensate for a higher coefficient of thermal expansion to prevent warping and distortion.
