Our hot-finished Titanium Tubes are meticulously crafted through hot-rolling or hot-extruding processes. These tubes are then straightened and machined for precision on both inside and outside diameters, followed by surface polishing for a flawless finish. Available in both heat-treated and non-heat-treated forms, our products undergo 100% ultrasonic flaw detection to ensure premium quality and reliability.
Titanium Tube Materials Available:
Hot-rolled Titanium Tubes: Outer Diameter (OD) ranges from 19mm to 325mm, wall thickness spans from 9mm to 30mm, and lengths extend up to 5000mm, subject to mutual agreement between manufacturer and customer. Hot-extruded Titanium Tubes: OD ranges from 50mm to 160mm, wall thickness spans from 7mm to 35mm, and lengths extend up to 3000mm, subject to mutual agreement between manufacturer and customer.
Cold-finished Titanium Tubes
Cold-finished Titanium Tubes are provided in various finishes, including heat-treated and surface-etched, with rigorous hydrostatic and ultrasonic testing as per manufacturing specifications. These tubes come with an Outer Diameter (OD) range of 6mm to 89mm, wall thickness from 0.5mm to 11mm, and lengths up to 6000mm, subject to mutual agreement between manufacturer and customer.

Titanium Welded Pipes
DaXun offers high-quality titanium welded pipes with diameters ranging from 12.7mm to 38.1mm (0.47 in to 1.5 in), wall thickness from 0.4mm to 1.65mm (0.016 in to 0.065 in), and lengths up to 25000mm. These pipes are specifically designed to meet the exacting standards of the engineering and chemical industries. Constructed from flat rolled raw material via automatic tungsten inert gas (argon) welding on electric pipe welders, and subsequently heat-treated on the mill line, our welded pipes undergo rigorous mechanical testing, geometrical measurements, and comprehensive 100% ultrasonic and eddy current testing, as well as pneumatic or hydrostatic testing. Each pipe is packed according to customer specifications, ensuring compliance with ASTM B 338 and ASME SB 338 standards.

Fabrication and Heat Treatment

Machinability

Grade 12 Ti 0.3 Mo 0.8 Ni alloy can be expertly machined using slow speeds, precise coolant flow, and high feed rates. For optimum performance, high-speed tools are recommended, specifically tungsten carbide designations C1-C4 or cobalt-based tools.

Forming

Grade 12 Ti 0.3 Mo 0.8 Ni alloy is highly versatile, capable of being formed both hot and cold.

Welding

The weldability of Grade 12 Ti 0.3 Mo 0.8 Ni alloy is exemplary and highly rated.

Annealing

To anneal Grade 12 Ti 0.3 Mo 0.8 Ni alloy, heat to 732-816°C (1350-1500°F), maintain for 2 hours, then air cool. For intermediate stress relief, heat to 538-649°C (1000-1200°F), maintain for 1 hour, then air cool.

Forging

Begin rough forging at 871°C (1600°F) and complete between 788-843°C (1450-1550°F).

Hot Working

Hot working significantly enhances the material's overall ductility, ensuring superior performance.

Cold Working

Cold working characteristics mirror those of austenitic stainless steel. Post-work annealing is advised to restore optimal performance properties.
