Grade 5 Titanium Tubes: Your Go-To Choice for Challenging Corrosive Environments
Daxun performs rigorous quality assurance tests, including flattening, flaring, ultrasonic flaw detection, pitting resistance, mechanical, hardness, material positive identification, and expansion tests. These ensure that Grade 1 Titanium Welded and Seamless Pipes are apt for their applications. Diameter, thickness, and surface of products are measured during production. Standard delivery time is 5-7 days, while special size products take 15-20 days.
Ti-6Al4V Grade 5 Titanium Alloy Tube is the most commercially available of all titanium alloys. It combines high strength and toughness with good welding and processing characteristics:
We stock and sell Grade 5 Titanium Alloy Seamless Tubes, Forged Seamless Tubes, Welded Tubes, and more.
As a leading manufacturer and supplier, Daxun Alloy delivers high-quality Grade 5 titanium pipes globally, receiving acclaim from numerous projects.
Ti 6Al-4V (Grade 5 Titanium) is the most widely used titanium alloy, accounting for over 50% of total titanium usage. Typically annealed, it operates up to 400°C (750°F) and is welded with matching or ELI filler wire. Ti 6Al/4V boasts significantly higher strength than commercial pure titanium tubes, better stiffness, heat treatability, and thermal properties (excluding thermal conductivity). Its thermal conductivity is about 60% lower than CP titanium. Advantages include strong formability, low density, and excellent corrosion resistance.
This exceptional Grade 5 titanium alloy is the epitome of superior strength, outstanding corrosion resistance, unparalleled weldability, and excellent machinability. Such a remarkable blend of features makes it a staple in high-stakes applications: military aircraft, aviation industry, rocket components, precision-guided munitions, armor parts, naval equipment, and military vacuum systems. Additionally, its close variant, 6-4ELI, finds critical use in surgical implants. Designed for optimal performance up to 400°C, this material enhances ductility and toughness under cold working conditions and boasts an impressive specific strength. Typically supplied in an annealed state, it is effortlessly heat-treated to increase strength for diverse applications. As a versatile, general-purpose titanium alloy, the Ti 6Al-4V seamless tube exhibits a myriad of optimal properties within the temperature range of -210°C to 400°C. Among all titanium alloys, the Grade 5 titanium alloy tube stands out as the most commercialized, offering a perfect balance of high strength and toughness. Its excellent welding and processing characteristics further solidify its status as a top-tier choice in the industry.

Titanium Seamless Tubes
Daxun produces:
Hot-finished Titanium Tubes
Our hot-finished titanium tubes are meticulously crafted in the forms of hot-rolled or hot-extruded. These tubes are precision-engineered with straightened, machined inside and outside diameters, and a polished surface. Available in both heat-treated and non-heat-treated forms, they undergo rigorous 100% ultrasonic flaw detection to ensure impeccable quality.
Titanium Tube Materials Available:
Hot-rolled Titanium Tubes: Outer Diameter (OD) ranges from 19mm to 325mm, wall thickness spans 9mm to 30mm, with lengths up to 5000mm (subject to manufacturer-customer agreement). Hot-extruded Titanium Tubes: OD ranges from 50mm to 160mm, wall thickness spans 7mm to 35mm, with lengths up to 3000mm (subject to manufacturer-customer agreement).
Cold-finished Titanium Tubes
Our cold-finished titanium tubes are supplied in meticulously heat-treated, surface-etched forms, and undergo hydrostatic or ultrasonic testing as per manufacturing specifications. Available Dimensions: Outer Diameter (OD) from 6mm to 89mm, wall thickness from 0.5mm to 11mm, with lengths up to 6000mm (subject to manufacturer-customer agreement).
Titanium Welded Pipes
DaXun's titanium welded pipes, ranging in diameters from 12.7mm to 38.1mm (0.47 in to 1.5 in) and wall thickness from 0.4mm to 1.65mm (0.016 in to 0.065 in), are available in lengths up to 25000mm. Designed for engineering and chemical industries, our pipes are crafted from Gr1, Gr2, and Gr12 titanium alloys. These pipes are manufactured using flat rolled raw material through automatic tungsten inert gas (argon) welding on electric pipe welders, followed by heat treatment. Each pipe undergoes mechanical testing, geometrical measurements, 100% ultrasonic and eddy current testing, pneumatic or hydrostatic testing, and is meticulously packed according to customer specifications. Our manufacturing processes and inspection test equipment ensure compliance with ASTM B 338 and ASME SB 338 standards.
