CORROSION RESISTANCE:
- DAXUN 304/304L Stainless Steel Bar is a versatile, general-purpose stainless steel offering robust resistance to atmospheric corrosion, a wide variety of organic and inorganic chemicals, as well as food and beverage-induced corrosion.
- It is also integral in vacuum processing equipment and specialized instruments where high integrity is paramount.
HEAT RESISTANCE:
- Exhibits excellent oxidation resistance in intermittent service up to 1600°F and in continuous service up to 1690°F.
However, continuous use of 304 round bar within the temperature range of 800-1580°F is not recommended if subsequent resistance to aqueous corrosion is crucial.
WELDING CHARACTERISTICS:
- Easily weldable using the full spectrum of conventional welding techniques, excluding oxyacetylene.
- For optimal results, AWS E308L/ ER308L filler metal should be utilized with Prodec 304/304L steel.
MACHINABILITY:
- Allows for higher machining speeds, extended tool lifespan, enhanced part quality, and decreased overall costs of machined components.

- For specific requirements, additional positive material identification testing may be necessary. Daxun Stainless Products can conduct this testing in-house or collaborate with independent laboratories to fulfill the testing requirements.
UT TESTING
