310S Stainless Steel Coil is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel renowned for its exceptional resistance to oxidation, corrosion, and high temperatures. This high-temperature alloy maintains robust creep strength and oxidation resistance up to an impressive 2000˚F in dry air. Outperforming Type 309 in thermal cycling applications, 310S generates a durable oxide scale and resists spalling. It excels in mildly carburizing environments by resisting sulfidation and carburization. The low-carbon variant, Type 310S, is easier to shape and weld, maintaining nonmagnetic properties when annealed and cold-wrought, and offers superior corrosion resistance compared to Type 304/304L.
