DAXUN proudly produces and stocks top-quality, commercially pure Grade 2 Titanium Plates (UNS R50400) in a wide range of thicknesses-from 0.5mm to 120mm. Grade 2 is renowned as the workhorse of the titanium family, offering an exceptional blend of high strength, ductility, and corrosion resistance, making it ideal for numerous industrial applications.
Grade 2 Titanium Plate is a commercially pure titanium material that provides an outstanding balance of strength and ductility. It is highly weldable and offers excellent impact strength. Known for its exceptional corrosion resistance, it performs well in highly oxidizing environments, alkaline media, brine solutions, weakly reducing conditions, and wet ***. Additionally, it boasts superior resistance to seawater and salt solutions.
The unique properties of titanium-low density, high strength-to-weight ratio, and superb corrosion resistance-make it the perfect material for a broad spectrum of applications. It is particularly effective in resisting stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion in chloride solutions below 70°C. With a high melting point of 1660°C, Grade 2 Titanium Plate is the preferred alloy for most industrial applications that require excellent ductility and corrosion resistance.
Grade 2 titanium plate is characterized by its low density, making it ideal for weight-sensitive applications. Key industries utilizing titanium alloys include medical, chemical equipment, and aerospace sectors. The superior strength and corrosion resistance of Grade 2 titanium make it perfect for marine, chemical processing, and desalination applications. Typical uses include oil and gas components, reaction and pressure vessels, piping systems, power generation, heat exchangers, linings, flue gas desulfurization systems, and a variety of other industrial components. Common standards include: ASTM B265, ASTM F67, AMS4911, AMS4928, AMS4943, AMS4944, AMS4945, AMS4967, AMS4972.
At Daxun, we prioritize quality assurance through a series of rigorous tests including flattening, pitting and resistance, mechanical, hardness, material positive identification, and expansion tests. These ensure our materials meet the required specifications. Throughout production, we meticulously measure the diameter, thickness, and surface of our products. We guarantee standard delivery within 5-7 days, with special size products delivered in 15-20 days.
Titanium Grade 2 Plates are available in cold-rolled thicknesses ranging from 0.3 mm to 6.0 mm and in hot-rolled or heat-treated conditions from 4.76 mm to 155 mm. These plates are produced by longitudinal and transverse rolling and can be supplied in heat-treated or hot-rolled conditions. For specialized flatness needs, creep flattening can be used as a heat treatment to relieve internal stresses. Plates can be cut into complex shapes from a parent plate, with further mechanical or chemical processing available based on customer requirements.
