DAXUN produces and stocks commercially pure Titanium Plates Grade 2 (UNS R50400) in thicknesses ranging from 0.5mm to 120mm. Known as the 'workhorse' of the commercially pure titanium family, Grade 2 Titanium Plate (UNS R50400) boasts high strength, remarkable ductility, and excellent corrosion resistance, making it ideal for a multitude of industrial applications.
Grade 2 Titanium Plate, a commercially pure titanium offering, strikes a perfect balance between strength and ductility. It features outstanding impact strength and weldability, coupled with robust corrosion resistance in highly oxidizing environments, alkaline media, brine solutions, weakly reducing environments, and wet ***. Its superior resistance to seawater and salt solutions renders it indispensable in numerous industrial settings.
Titanium's low density, exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, and formidable corrosion resistance make it an ideal material for diverse applications, effectively resisting stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion in chloride solutions below 70°C. With a melting point of 1660°C, Grade 2 Titanium Plate is the alloy of choice for industrial applications requiring superior ductility and corrosion resistance.
Grade 2 Titanium Plate's lower density makes it ideal where weight is a concern. Vital industries such as medical, chemical equipment, and aerospace benefit from titanium alloys. Its strength and corrosion resistance also make Grade 2 Titanium Plate indispensable for marine, chemical processing, and desalination applications. Typical uses include oil and gas components, reaction and pressure vessels, piping systems, power generation, heat exchangers, linings, flue gas desulfurization systems, and various industrial components. Common standards: ASTM B265, ASTM F67, AMS4911, AMS4928, AMS4943, AMS4944, AMS4945, AMS4967, AMS4972.
At Daxun, we perform rigorous quality assurance tests, including flattening, pitting, resistance, mechanical, hardness, material positive identification, and expansion tests, to ensure material suitability for various applications. During production, we meticulously measure the product's diameter, thickness, and surface. Our standard delivery time is 5-7 days, with special size products taking 15-20 days.
Titanium Grade 2 Plates are available in cold-rolled thicknesses ranging from 0.3 mm to 6.0 mm and in hot-rolled or heat-treated conditions from 4.76 mm to 155 mm. These plates are produced via longitudinal and transverse rolling and can be supplied in a cut blank form. Depending on customer requirements, further processing can be mechanical or chemical. If necessary, creep flattening can be employed as a heat treatment to relieve internal stresses and meet special flatness requirements.
