DAXUN produces and stocks commercially pure titanium plates of Grade 2 (UNS R50400) in thicknesses ranging from 0.5mm to 120mm. Renowned as the 'workhorse' of the commercially pure titanium family, Grade 2 Titanium Plate (UNS R50400) combines high strength, excellent ductility, and superior corrosion resistance, making it ideal for numerous industrial applications.
Grade 2 Titanium Plate is a commercially pure titanium plate that offers a superb balance between strength and ductility. It features excellent impact strength and weldability. This plate is highly resistant to corrosion in a variety of environments, including highly oxidizing environments, alkaline media, brine solutions, weakly reducing environments, and wet ***. It also boasts exceptional resistance to seawater and salt solutions.
With its low density, high strength-to-weight ratio, and remarkable corrosion resistance, titanium is an ideal material for a multitude of applications. Notably, it resists stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion in chloride solutions below 70°C. With a melting point of 1660°C, Grade 2 Titanium Plate is the preferred choice for industrial applications requiring both good ductility and corrosion resistance.
Grade 2 titanium plate's lower density makes it perfect for weight-sensitive applications. It's widely used in the medical, chemical equipment, and aerospace industries. The strength and corrosion resistance of Grade 2 titanium plate also make it suitable for marine, chemical processing, and desalination applications. Typical uses include oil and gas components, reaction and pressure vessels, piping systems, power generation, heat exchangers, linings, flue gas desulfurization systems, and other industrial components. Common standards: ASTM B265, ASTM F67, AMS4911, AMS4928, AMS4943, AMS4944, AMS4945, AMS4967, AMS4972.
Daxun rigorously conducts multiple quality assurance tests, which include flattening test, pitting and resistance test, mechanical test, hardness test, material positive identification, and expansion test. These exhaustive tests ensure that the material meets all application requirements. During production, we measure the diameter, thickness, and surface of the product. Our standard delivery time is 5-7 days, and for special sizes, it ranges from 15-20 days.
Titanium Grade 2 Plates are offered in cold rolled thicknesses ranging from 0.3 mm to 6.0 mm. These plates are supplied in hot rolled or heat-treated conditions. Available in hot rolled thicknesses from 4.76 mm to 155 mm, the plates are produced by longitudinal and transverse rolling. If necessary, creep flattening can be applied as a heat treatment to relieve internal stresses and meet special flatness requirements. Plates can be supplied in cut blank form, with parts featuring complex shapes cut from a parent plate. Further processing, whether mechanical or chemical, depends on the customer's requirements.
