310S Stainless Steel Coil is an exceptional austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel known for its outstanding resistance to oxidation, corrosion, and high temperatures. Type 310S is a high-temperature chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steel with robust creep strength and oxidation resistance up to 2000˚F in dry air. It forms a durable oxide scale at high temperatures and excels in thermal cycling applications, outperforming Type 309. In mildly carburizing environments, Type 310 exhibits excellent sulfidation and carburization resistance. The low-carbon variation, Type 310S, is easier to shape and weld, maintaining superior corrosion resistance compared to Type 304/304L. When annealed and cold wrought, Type 310S is nonmagnetic.
