Gr5 (Grade 5) Ti-6Al-4V titanium alloy plates contain 90% titanium, 6% aluminum, and 4% vanadium. As an α-β type alloy, aluminum stabilizes the α phase while vanadium stabilizes the β phase. Gr5 Ti-6Al-4V alloy boasts outstanding comprehensive performance and processability, exceptional room-temperature and high-temperature strength, excellent creep resistance and thermal stability, high fatigue and *** growth resistance, and superior fracture toughness and hot salt stress corrosion performance. Corrosion Resistance

Gr1, Gr2, Gr3, and Gr4 titanium plates exhibit high resistance to seawater and marine atmospheric corrosion. All four C.P. grades have similar corrosion resistance, though their mechanical properties differ based on oxygen and iron content. These plates resist attacks by wet chlorides and metal chlorides, chlorite and hypochlorite solutions, nitric and chromic acids, organic acids, and various industrial gases.
