Grade 2 Titanium Welded Tube: Diameters range from 6.0mm to 1219mm, with wall thickness between 0.3mm and 30mm (depending on diameter) and lengths up to 25000mm. Crafted from Gr1 titanium tube, these welded tubes are produced from flat rolled billets (tube blanks) on electric welding machines utilizing automatic tungsten inert gas (argon) welding. They undergo heat treatment on the mill line. Rigorous mechanical tests, geometric measurements, 100% ultrasonic and eddy current testing, and either pneumatic or hydrostatic testing are conducted before the finished titanium welded tubes are meticulously packaged to meet customer specifications. Our advanced manufacturing technology and comprehensive inspection and testing equipment guarantee that our thin wall welded tubes conform to the strict ASTM B 338 and ASME SB 338 standards.
Daxun's Grade 2 Titanium Tube provides a harmonious blend of medium strength and exceptional cold forming properties. It excels in welding and offers remarkable resistance to oxidation and corrosion.
Purchase Grade 2 Titanium Tubes from Daxun, where we offer a wide range of sizes starting from a 1.0 mm diameter. Whether you need stock items or custom-made specifications, we can deliver. Our inventory includes drawn, seamless rolled, or longitudinally welded tubes suitable for various applications. We supply welded or seamless tubes made of Grade 2 Titanium that meet typical heat exchanger specifications such as ASTM B 338, ASME SB 338, DIN, and VD TÜV.
Our CP Grade 2 tubes boast a density of 4.51 g/cm3, which is 45% lighter than ferrous alloys. This medium-strength alloy features a typical yield strength of 352 MPa. It offers excellent ductility, formability, and welding properties. The addition of iron and oxygen enhances strength and formability. CP Grade 2 provides similar performance to Grade 1, along with outstanding corrosion resistance in oxidizing conditions. However, it is stronger than Grade 1 titanium tube.
Grade 2 Titanium Tubes represent commercially pure titanium with an ideal balance of strength and ductility. This material is renowned for its good toughness and is the most widely used titanium alloy due to its high strength, weldability, and corrosion resistance. Its remarkable ductility and formability make it the preferred choice for piping systems, heat exchangers, reaction and pressure vessels, and flue gas desulfurization systems. Grade 2 titanium alloys are indispensable in industries such as chemical processing, petrochemical processing, aerospace, and marine.
