Titanium round bars are among Daxun Alloy China's most sought-after products. The production process for Grade 1 Titanium bars is more automated compared to blocks and plates. Available in over forty grades-most notably Grade 5, Grade 2, and Grade 1-these bars come in diameters up to 14 inches. Pure Titanium Grade 1 boasts exceptional ductility and cold formability, ideal for deep drawing. Its renowned resistance to general and seawater corrosion, as well as to oxidizing, neutral, and mildly reducing media (including chlorides), makes it indispensable. Titanium's low density, high strength-to-weight ratio, and corrosion resistance render it perfect for challenging chemical environments.
DAXUN® Ti Grade 1 is a commercially pure titanium bar, characterized by the following:
Daxun produces high-performance titanium bars and can customize manufacturing per customer agreements:
Daxun conducts rigorous quality assurance tests, including mechanical tests (area tensile), chemical analysis, material positive identification (PMI), micro and macro testing, intergranular corrosion (IGC) testing, ultrasonic flaw detection, pitting resistance testing, hardness testing, expansion testing, etc. These ensure the Grade 2 Titanium Rod and Round Bar meet application standards. During production, we measure the product's diameter, thickness, and surface.

AMS 4928 - Bars, Forgings, and Forging Stock (Annealed)
AMS 4965 - Bars, Forgings (Solution Treated and Aged)
AMS 4967 - Bars, Forgings (Annealed, Heat Treatable)
In the solution-treated and aged condition, rapid quenching of smaller sections results in optimum properties. Larger sections and/or delayed quenching may lead to suboptimal properties.
Typical hardness in the annealed state ranges from Rockwell C 30-34, while the solution and aged condition yields a hardness of about Rockwell C 35-39.
Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 alloy bar boasts excellent machinability when employing austenitic stainless steel machining methods. Optimal results are achieved with slow machining speeds, high feed rates, and rigid tooling, complemented by the use of copious non-chlorinated cutting fluids.
Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 alloy rod exhibits remarkable weldability in both the annealed state and the solution and partially aged condition, with the aging process being completed during post-weld heat treatment. It is crucial to avoid contamination from oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen. Fusion welding can be efficiently performed in an inert gas-filled chamber or with inert gas shielding the molten metal and adjacent heated zones, aided by a tail shield. Additionally, spot, seam, and flash welding can be executed without requiring a protective atmosphere.
Attention must be given to prevent Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 titanium alloy rod contamination from hydrogen during improper pickling and from oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon during forging, heat treating, brazing, etc. Such contamination can lead to reduced ductility, negatively impacting notch sensitivity and forming characteristics.
We meticulously produce bars tailored to meet your specifications.

Titanium should be avoided in strong reducing acids, fluoride solutions, pure oxygen, and anhydrous *** environments.
Table 1 showcases the general corrosion rates for Grade 2 titanium in various media. CP titanium performs excellently in resisting corrosion across a broad spectrum of environments, including:
Compared to stainless steels, CP titanium offers superior resistance to crevice corrosion in salt solutions. It does not exhibit crevice corrosion at temperatures below 80 °C (176°F), irrespective of pH, even in highly chlorinated conditions.
Grade 2 titanium demonstrates excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking (SCC) in hot chloride solutions and remains immune to SCC in seawater.
Titanium exhibits superb resistance to erosion in flowing
Seawater with velocities up to 130 ft/sec (40 m/sec) demonstrates negligible impact on the material. Even with the presence of abrasive particles like sand, the corrosion effect remains minimal.
Titanium exhibits no significant absorption of hydrogen when exposed to seawater, even at elevated temperatures. Hydrogen absorption typically occurs only when the following three conditions are met:
Titanium alloys show a remarkable resistance to all forms of microbiologically influenced corrosion. Since they are non-toxic to marine organisms, biofouling can occur in seawater but can be minimized through chlorination or by increasing water velocity in heat exchangers.
Unlike many other materials, titanium maintains its fatigue performance in seawater. Fatigue endurance limits and *** growth rates remain consistent whether tested in air or seawater.
In the galvanic series, titanium is positioned towards the noble end near stainless steels and generally acts as the cathode when coupled with other metals. As a result, titanium is not susceptible to galvanic corrosion but can accelerate the corrosion of the other metal. Coupling with more noble metals like graphite enhances titanium's passivity.
Grade 2 Titanium Rods do not experience degradation in fatigue properties in seawater. Fatigue endurance limits and *** growth rates are constant whether tested in air or seawater.
CP2 Grade Titanium Rods are highly weldable, provided necessary precautions are observed. Due to titanium's reactivity, an inert gas shield should be used on both the OD and ID. Ensure the material is free from grease or oil contamination.
Grade 2 Titanium Rods are typically welded using manual or automatic TIG welding, with or without filler wire. Low heat input is recommended to minimize the heat-affected zone. Post-weld heat treatment is generally not required.
