The 310S Stainless Steel Coil is a premium austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel, renowned for its outstanding resistance to oxidation, corrosion, and high temperatures. This high-temperature alloy exhibits remarkable creep strength and can withstand oxidation up to 2000˚F in dry air, outclassing Type 309 in thermal cycling applications. It forms a robust oxide scale in high-temperature conditions and resists spalling. In mildly carburizing environments, 310 resists sulfidation and carburization effectively. The 310S variant, with its lower carbon content, is easier to shape and weld. When annealed and cold wrought, it remains nonmagnetic and showcases superior corrosion resistance compared to Type 304/304L.
