310S Stainless Steel Coil is a high-performance austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel, known for its exceptional resistance to oxidation, corrosion, and high temperatures. Specifically engineered to withstand up to 2000˚F in dry air, Type 310S forms a robust oxide scale that resists spalling, making it superior to Type 309 for thermal cycling applications. In mildly carburizing environments, Type 310 resists sulfidation and carburization effectively. As a low-carbon variant of Type 310, Type 310S offers enhanced formability and weldability. When annealed and cold wrought, it remains nonmagnetic and provides superior corrosion resistance compared to Type 304/304L.
