Corrosion Resistance

Gr1, Gr2, Gr3, and Gr5 titanium plates demonstrate superior resistance to seawater and marine atmospheric corrosion. While the corrosion resistance is consistent across the four C.P. grades, mechanical properties vary with the oxygen and iron content. These plates withstand attacks from wet chlorides, metal chlorides, chlorite and hypochlorite solutions, nitric and chromic acids, organic acids, and many industrial gases.
