The Ti-6Al4V Grade 5 Titanium Alloy Tube is the most commercially prevalent titanium alloy, known for its extraordinary strength and toughness. It offers excellent welding and processing characteristics:
Our inventory includes Grade 5 Titanium Alloy Seamless Tubes, Forged Seamless Tubes, Welded Tubes, and more.
As a premier titanium alloy tube manufacturer and supplier in China, Daxun Alloy provides top-tier Grade 5 titanium pipes globally, earning acclaim in numerous high-profile projects.
Ti 6Al-4V (Grade 5 Titanium) reigns as the most utilized titanium alloy tube, representing over 50% of all titanium usage. It is typically employed in its annealed state and can function at temperatures up to 400°C (750°F). Generally welded with matching or ELI filler wire, Ti 6Al/4V boasts significantly higher strength compared to commercially pure titanium tubes, along with enhanced stiffness and thermal properties (excluding thermal conductivity). The thermal conductivity of Grade 5 titanium is approximately 60% lower than that of CP titanium. Furthermore, it can be heat treated to achieve optimal strength and performance. The seamless tubes crafted from Grade 5 titanium offer remarkable formability, low density, and superior corrosion resistance.
This distinguished grade exemplifies an impeccable blend of strength, corrosion resistance, weldability, and machinability. Its extensive applications span across critical sectors such as military aircraft, the aviation industry, rocket components, precision-guided mechanisms, armor parts, ship equipment, and military-grade vacuum apparatus. A notable variant, 6-4ELI, finds its niche in surgical implants, demonstrating its versatility. Typically employed in environments up to 400°C, it enhances ductility and toughness under cold working conditions. Renowned for its excellent specific strength, this alloy is generally supplied in an annealed state, with heat treatment options available to further boost its strength for diverse applications. As a versatile titanium alloy, the Ti 6Al-4V titanium seamless tube boasts a remarkable range of ideal properties at temperatures spanning -210°C to 400°C. Grade 5 titanium alloy tube stands as the most commercialized among titanium alloys, merging high strength with exceptional toughness. Its outstanding welding and processing characteristics make it a preferred choice across industries.
