These tubes are available in both heat-treated and non-heat-treated forms, ensuring versatility. Our capabilities include 100% ultrasonic testing to guarantee quality. Hot rolled or extruded tubes range from an outer diameter of 1.0 mm to 325 mm, with wall thicknesses between 0.3 mm and 50 mm, and lengths up to 12,000 mm. Conversely, cold rolled seamless tubes, available after heat treatment and surface etching, range from an outer diameter of 6 mm to 102 mm, with wall thicknesses between 0.5 mm and 20 mm, and lengths up to 9,000 mm. Compliance with hydrostatic and ultrasonic inspection standards is a given.

Seamless titanium tubes and welded titanium tubes. These tubes boast excellent ductility and cold formability, making them perfect for deep drawing applications. Grade 1 titanium tubes are renowned for their superior general and seawater corrosion resistance. They exhibit excellent resistance to oxidizing, neutral, and slightly reducing media, including chlorides.
Titanium's low density, approximately half that of nickel-based alloys, combined with its high strength, light weight, and corrosion resistance, makes it an unparalleled choice for a variety of harsh chemical environments. Grade 2 Titanium Tube (UNS R50400 / Werkstoff WS 3.7034)

Grade 2 titanium tubes are the preferred choice for industrial applications, offering an exceptional balance of moderate strength and excellent ductility. They provide remarkable corrosion resistance in highly oxidizing and slightly reducing conditions, including exposure to chlorides. Widely used in the chemical and offshore industries, as well as in aircraft manufacturing, these tubes offer the ideal combination of strength and formability. Additional applications include heat exchangers, hypochlorite systems, fire water systems, ballast water systems, industrial and aerospace components, CPI equipment, and piping systems.

Fabrication

Titanium Grade 2 is highly responsive to cold forming using standard methods. It can be machined with ease, provided that sharp tools are maintained and coolant is used liberally. Similar to the machining of austenitic stainless steels, deep and continuous cuts with slow feeds and speeds are recommended.

Weight Reduction

CP 2 grade titanium tubes offer a low density and a high strength-to-weight ratio, making them ideal for applications requiring significant weight reduction without compromising strength. These tubes are cold formable, possess good ductility, and can be welded using conventional TIG and MIG processes, although inert gas shielding is necessary to prevent weld zone embrittlement.
