Titanium round bars are among the most sought-after products from Daxun Alloy, China. The production process for Grade 1 Titanium bars is highly mechanized compared to that of blocks and plates. Available in over forty grades, the most prominent ones include Grade 5, Grade 2, and Grade 1. These round bars come in various diameters, up to 14 inches. Pure Titanium Grade 1 offers exceptional ductility and cold formability, making it ideal for deep drawing applications. Renowned for its superior general and seawater corrosion resistance, Grade 1 also excels in resisting oxidizing, neutral, and mildly reducing media like chlorides. With a low density-approximately half that of nickel-based alloys-combined with high strength-to-weight ratio and corrosion resistance, it stands out as the optimal choice for challenging chemical environments.
DAXUN® Ti Grade 1 is a commercially pure (CP) titanium bar characterized by the following:
Daxun delivers high-performance titanium bars and can customize production based on customer agreements:
Daxun performs extensive quality assurance tests, including mechanical tests like tensile strength, chemical analysis, PMI testing, micro and macro examinations, intergranular corrosion (IGC) testing, ultrasonic flaw detection, pitting and resistance tests, hardness testing, and expansion tests. These ensure that the material for Grade 2 Titanium Rod and Round Bar meets application requirements. During production, we measure the product's diameter, thickness, and surface.

AMS 4928 - Bars, Forgings, and Forging Stock (Annealed)
AMS 4965 - Bars, Forgings (Solution Treated and Aged)
AMS 4967 - Bars, Forgings (Annealed, Heat Treatable)
In the solution-treated and aged condition, rapid quenching of small sections achieves optimal properties, while larger sections and/or delayed quenching might result in less than optimal properties.
Typically, hardness in the annealed condition is Rockwell C 30-34, and in the solution-treated and aged condition, it is approximately Rockwell C 35-39.
The Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 alloy bar can be expertly machined using techniques akin to those used for austenitic stainless steel. This includes employing slow machining speeds, high feeds, and rigid tools, along with generous amounts of non-chlorinated cutting fluids for optimal results.
The Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 alloy rod boasts excellent weldability, whether in the annealed condition or in the solution and partially aged condition-with aging achieved during post-weld heat treatment. To maintain integrity, precautions must be taken to avoid contamination by oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen. Fusion welding can be performed in an inert gas-filled chamber or with inert gas protection of the molten metal and adjacent heated zones, using a tail shield. Additionally, spot, seam, and flash welding can be conducted without the need for a protective atmosphere.
Special care must be taken with the Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 titanium alloy rod to avoid contamination by hydrogen during improper pickling, and by oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon during processes such as forging, heat treating, and brazing. Such contamination can result in a loss of ductility, adversely affecting notch sensitivity and forming characteristics.
Our manufacturing process is tailored to meet your specific bar requirements.
We ensure excellent surface finish and straightness, perfect roundness, and the tightest diameter tolerances (adhering to ISO 286-2, up to h5). Available in straightened, ground, polished conditions.

Table 1 depicts general corrosion rates for Grade 2 titanium across various media. CP titanium is renowned for its corrosion resistance in diverse environments including:
CP titanium resists crevice corrosion better than stainless steels in salt solutions. It shows no crevice corrosion below 80°C (176°F), regardless of pH, even under highly chlorinated conditions.
Grade 2 titanium excels in resisting stress corrosion cracking (SCC) in hot chloride solutions and remains immune to SCC in seawater.
Titanium demonstrates outstanding resistance to erosion in dynamic environments.
Experience unparalleled durability with our High Corrosion Resistance Pure Titanium Rod, designed to withstand seawater velocities up to 130 ft/sec (40 m/sec) with negligible impact. Even in the presence of abrasive particles such as sand, the titanium's resistance to corrosion remains virtually unaffected.
Our titanium rods demonstrate exceptional resilience against hydrogen absorption in seawater, even at elevated temperatures. Hydrogen absorption is typically prevented unless the following conditions are simultaneously met:
Titanium alloys offer unmatched immunity to all forms of microbiologically influenced corrosion. While biofouling can occur due to the non-toxic nature of titanium towards marine organisms, it can be effectively minimized through chlorination or by increasing water velocity through a heat exchanger.
Our titanium rods stand out by maintaining fatigue performance even in seawater. The fatigue endurance limits and fatigue *** growth rates remain consistent whether in air or seawater environments.
Situated near the noble end of the galvanic series, titanium typically acts as the cathode when paired with other metals, thereby resisting galvanic corrosion but potentially accelerating the corrosion of the coupled metal. When coupled with more noble materials like graphite, titanium's passivity is further enhanced.
Grade 2 Titanium Rods exhibit remarkable fatigue properties, showing no degradation when exposed to seawater. Their fatigue endurance limits and *** growth rates remain stable, whether tested in air or seawater.
CP2 Grade Titanium Rods are highly weldable, provided necessary precautions are in place. An inert gas shield is essential for both the OD and ID due to titanium's reactive nature, and the material must be free from grease or oil contamination.
Grade 2 Titanium Rods are typically welded using manual or automatic TIG welding, with or without filler wire. Employing low heat input helps minimize the heat affected zone. Post-weld heat treatment is generally not required for Titanium Rods.
