These tubes are meticulously straightened, machined for precision internal and external diameters, and polished to perfection. Whether heat-treated or non-heat-treated, each tube undergoes rigorous 100% ultrasonic flaw detection to ensure impeccable quality.

Titanium Welded Pipes
DaXun specializes in titanium welded pipes with diameters from 12.7mm to 38.1mm (0.47 in to 1.5 in) and wall thickness from 0.4mm to 1.65mm (0.016 in to 0.065 in). Lengths extend up to 25000mm. Our pipes, made from flat rolled material and welded via automatic tungsten inert gas (argon), meet ASTM B 338 and ASME SB 338 standards. Each pipe undergoes mechanical, geometrical, ultrasonic, eddy current, and hydrostatic/pneumatic testing to ensure utmost quality and compliance.

Titanium Grade 9, often hailed as 'half 6-4', is an exceptional alloy composed of 3% aluminium and 2.5% vanadium. It boasts an impressive 20 to 50% greater mechanical strength thancommercially pure (CP)titanium grades, while also offering superior formability and weldability compared to Ti-6Al-4V (Grade 5).
Titanium Grade 18 (UNS R56322) is virtually identical to Grade 9, with the exception of the addition of 0.04 - 0.08% palladium to enhance corrosion resistance. Both Titanium Grades 9 and 18 have a density of 4.48 g/cc, making them significantly lighter-less than 60% the weight of steel.
This material exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in oxidizing, neutral, and mildly reducing environments, including those containing chlorides. With added palladium, Titanium Grade 18 offers even greater corrosion resistance. The alloy is also resistant to oxidation up to 600°F (316°C).
