DAXUN, renowned for excellence, produces and stocks commercially pure titanium plates, Grade 2 (UNS R50400), in thicknesses ranging from 0.5mm to 120mm. Grade 2 Titanium Plate is the cornerstone of the commercially pure titanium family, offering a harmonious blend of high strength, impressive ductility, and exceptional corrosion resistance, catering to diverse industrial applications.
Grade 2 Titanium Plate, a pure titanium marvel, strikes the perfect equilibrium between strength and ductility. It boasts robust impact strength and seamless weldability. It is highly resistant to corrosion in strongly oxidizing environments, alkaline media, brine solutions, weakly reducing environments, and wet ***. Its outstanding resistance to seawater and saline solutions makes it indispensable.
Titanium's intrinsic low density, high strength-to-weight ratio, and superior corrosion resistance make it an ideal choice for a multitude of applications. Resilient against stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion in chloride solutions below 70°C, with a melting point of 1660°C, Grade 2 Titanium Plate is the preferred alloy for industrial applications demanding exceptional ductility and corrosion resistance.
Grade 2 titanium plates are prized for their lower density, making them perfect when weight considerations are paramount. Key industries utilizing titanium alloys include medical, chemical equipment, and aerospace sectors. The superior strength and corrosion resistance of grade 2 titanium plate also make it ideal for marine, chemical processing, and desalination industries. Typical applications span oil and gas components, reaction and pressure vessels, piping systems, power and heat exchangers, linings, flue gas desulfurization systems, and myriad other industrial components. Common standards include ASTM B265, ASTM F67, AMS4911, AMS4928, AMS4943, AMS4944, AMS4945, AMS4967, and AMS4972.
At Daxun, we conduct stringent quality assurance tests including flattening, pitting resistance, mechanical, hardness, material positive identification, and expansion tests. These comprehensive tests ensure the material's suitability for the intended application. Throughout production, we meticulously measure the product's diameter, thickness, and surface. Our standard delivery time is 5-7 days, extending to 15-20 days for special sizes.
Titanium Grade 2 Plates are available in cold rolled thicknesses from 0.3 mm to 6.0 mm and in hot rolled thicknesses from 4.76 mm to 155 mm, supplied in either hot rolled or heat treated conditions. Plates are produced via longitudinal and transverse rolling. For additional requirements, creep flattening can be employed as a heat treatment to relieve internal stresses and meet special flatness criteria. Plates can also be supplied in cut blank form where complex shapes are cut from a parent plate, with further processing tailored to customer specifications, encompassing both mechanical and chemical treatments.
