310S Stainless Steel Coil is an exceptional austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel, renowned for its outstanding resistance to oxidation, corrosion, and high temperatures. This high-temperature material excels with remarkable creep strength and oxidation resistance up to 2000˚F in dry air conditions. Type 310S forms a durable oxide scale at elevated temperatures and resists spalling, surpassing Type 309 in thermal cycling applications. It resists sulfidation and carburization in mildly carburizing environments. As a low-carbon variant of Type 310, it offers easier formability and weldability. When annealed and cold wrought, Type 310S is nonmagnetic and provides superior corrosion resistance compared to Type 304/304L.
