Ti 6Al-4V (Grade 5 Titanium) is the predominant titanium alloy tube, constituting over 50% of titanium usage. Typically annealed, it functions up to 400°C (750°F) and is welded with matching or ELI filler wire. This alloy boasts higher strength than commercial pure titanium tubes, along with enhanced stiffness and improved thermal properties, except for thermal conductivity, which is about 60% lower than CP titanium. It can be heat-treated for superior strength and performance, offering strong formability, low density, and excellent corrosion resistance.
This grade is a stellar blend of strength, corrosion resistance, weldability, and machinability, making it ideal for military aircraft, aviation, rocket parts, precision-guided components, armor parts, ship equipment, military vacuum equipment, and surgical implants (using 6-4ELI). Operating effectively at -210°C to 400°C, Grade 5 titanium seamlessly combines high strength and toughness with good welding and processing characteristics, making it the most commercialized titanium alloy.

These premium titanium tubes are offered in hot-rolled or hot-extruded forms, meticulously straightened, and precision-machined to exact internal and external diameters with a polished surface finish. Available in both heat-treated and non-heat-treated variants, our tubes boast 100% ultrasonic flaw detection for impeccable quality assurance.
Titanium Tube Materials Available:
Hot-rolled Titanium Tubes: Outer diameter (OD) ranges from 19mm to 325mm with wall thicknesses spanning 9mm to 30mm, and lengths extending up to 5000mm, subject to manufacturer-customer agreements. - Hot-extruded Titanium Tubes: OD ranges from 50mm to 160mm with wall thicknesses of 7mm to 35mm, and lengths up to 3000mm, also subject to mutual agreement.
Cold-finished Titanium Tubes
Cold-finished Titanium Tubes are meticulously heat-treated, surface-etched, and rigorously tested either hydrostatically or ultrasonically, as per specified manufacturing requirements. Tubes Supplied: OD ranges from 6mm to 89mm, wall thicknesses from 0.5mm to 11mm, and lengths up to 6000mm, subject to mutual agreement between the manufacturer and customer.
Titanium Welded Pipes
DaXun excels in the fabrication and supply of titanium pipes with diameters ranging from 12.7mm to 38.1mm (0.47 in to 1.5 in), wall thicknesses from 0.4mm to 1.65mm (0.016 in to 0.065 in, depending on diameter), and lengths extending up to 25000mm. Our titanium alloy pipes (Grades Gr1, Gr2, and Gr12) cater to the engineering and chemical industries. Utilizing flat rolled raw material (kelp) and automated tungsten inert gas (argon) welding techniques, our pipes are heat-treated on the mill line. Each finished pipe undergoes stringent mechanical testing, precise geometrical measurements, 100% ultrasonic and eddy current testing, and either pneumatic or hydrostatic testing. Pipes are meticulously packed according to customer specifications, ensuring they meet ASTM B 338 and ASME SB 338 standards.
