Type 310S is a low-carbon austenitic stainless steel, an enhanced version of Type 310, well-regarded for its high-temperature application capabilities. The 310S alloy, akin to 309S, excels in temperatures up to 2000°F, particularly where oxidation resistance is paramount. Both 309 and 310S offer the highest temperature performance among our stainless grades. 310S stainless steel features excellent corrosion resistance and combats carburization, oxidation, and other challenging conditions.
