Gr1 Gr2 Gr3 Gr4 titanium plate (UNS) is the "workhorse" in the commercially pure titanium family. It combines high strength, ductility and excellent corrosion resistance for many industrial applications.

Gr1 Gr2 Gr3 Gr4 titanium plate is a commercially pure titanium plate. It achieves an excellent balance between strength and ductility. It has good impact strength and is easy to weld. It has good corrosion resistance in highly oxidizing environments, alkaline media, brine solutions, weakly reducing environments and wet chlorine. It also has excellent resistance to seawater and salt solutions.


Gr5 grade5 Ti6al4v titanium plate is a titanium alloy plate Gr5 Ti-6Al-4V titanium alloy plate contains 90% titanium, 6% aluminum and 4% vanadium, and is an α-β type titanium alloy, in which aluminum plays the role of stabilizing the α phase and vanadium plays the role of stabilizing the β phase. The main features of Gr5 Ti-6Al-4V titanium alloy plate are excellent comprehensive performance and good process performance. TC4 titanium alloy has excellent room temperature and high temperature strength, good creep resistance and thermal stability, high fatigue performance and crack growth resistance in seawater, as well as satisfactory fracture toughness and hot salt stress corrosion performance. Gr5 Ti-6Al-4V titanium alloy plate also has excellent process plasticity and superplasticity, suitable for various processing methods, as well as various welding and machining methods.

Corrosion Resistance

Gr1 Gr2 Gr3 Gr4 Gr5 titanium plate is highly resistant to seawater and marine atmospheric corrosion. The four C.P. grades have similar corrosion resistance, but their mechanical properties vary depending on the oxygen and iron content. Gr1 Gr2 Gr3 Gr4 Gr5 titanium plate resists attack by wet chlorides and metal chlorides, chlorite and hypochlorite solutions, nitric and chromic acids, organic acids, and many gases for industrial use.
