Titanium round bars stand out as one of Jiangsu Daxun Alloy Co., Ltd.'s most in-demand titanium products. The production process for Grade 1 Titanium bars is highly mechanized compared to blocks and plates. With over forty distinct titanium grades available, the most popular ones include Grade 5, Grade 2, and Grade 1. Our titanium round bars come in a variety of diameters up to 14 inches. Pure Titanium Grade 1 boasts exceptional ductility and cold formability, making it ideal for deep drawing applications. Known for its superior resistance to general and seawater corrosion, as well as its resilience against oxidizing, neutral, and mildly reducing media like chlorides, Grade 1 Titanium is highly favored. Its low density, high strength-to-weight ratio, and outstanding corrosion resistance make it a top choice for challenging chemical environments.
DAXUN® Ti Grade 1 is a commercially pure (CP) titanium bar characterized by:
Daxun prides itself on producing top-tier titanium bars with exceptional performance and offers customized manufacturing per customer specifications:
Daxun conducts a range of rigorous quality assurance tests, including mechanical tests like tensile area assessments, chemical analysis, material positive identification (PMI test), micro and macro testing, intergranular corrosion (IGC) tests, ultrasonic flaw detection, pitting resistance tests, hardness tests, expansion tests, and more. These comprehensive evaluations ensure that Grade 2 Titanium Rods and Round Bars meet the application-specific standards. Throughout production, we meticulously measure the diameter, thickness, and surface quality of each product.

AMS 4928 - Bars, Forgings, and Forging Stock (Annealed)
AMS 4965 - Bars, Forgings (Solution Treated and Aged)
AMS 4967 - Bars, Forgings (Annealed, Heat Treatable)
For the solution treated and aged condition, rapid quenching of small sections yields the best properties, while larger sections or delayed quenching might result in less optimal properties.
Typically, hardness in the annealed condition ranges from Rockwell C 30-34, and in the solution treated and aged condition, it ranges from Rockwell C 35-39.
The Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 alloy bar offers excellent machinability using austenitic stainless steel techniques. Employ slow machining speeds, high feeds, rigid tools, and abundant non-chlorinated cutting fluids for optimal results.
Easily weldable in both annealed and solution/partially aged conditions, the Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 alloy rod benefits from post-weld heat treatment. Prevent contamination by oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen. Fusion welding can be done in an inert gas chamber or with inert gas shielding around molten metal and heated zones. Spot, seam, and flash welding are also possible without protective atmospheres.
Contamination with hydrogen from improper pickling, and oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon during forging, heat treating, or brazing, could impair the Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 titanium alloy rod's ductility. This may negatively affect its notch sensitivity and forming characteristics.
We tailor bar production to meet your precise specifications.
Our bars boast excellent surface finish, superior straightness, perfect roundness, and the tightest diameter tolerances (ISO 286-2 up to h5). Available in straightened, ground, and polished conditions.

Table 1 illustrates the general corrosion rates for Grade 2 titanium across various media. CP titanium shows impressive resistance to numerous environments including:
CP titanium's superior resistance to crevice corrosion in salt solutions outperforms stainless steels. It remains unaffected at temperatures below 80°C (176°F) and maintains integrity even under super chlorinated conditions.
Grade 2 titanium offers outstanding resistance to stress corrosion cracking (SCC) in hot chloride solutions and is immune to SCC in seawater.
Titanium exhibits excellent resistance to erosion in dynamic environments.
Withstanding seawater velocities up to an impressive 130 ft/sec (40 m/sec) with negligible material impact, our product excels even in the presence of abrasive particles like sand, which have minimal effect on its corrosion resistance.
Titanium exhibits remarkable resistance to hydrogen absorption, even under high-temperature seawater exposure. Hydrogen absorption typically requires three specific conditions:
Titanium alloys show a unique immunity to all forms of microbiologically influenced corrosion. Despite titanium's non-toxicity towards marine life leading to biofouling in seawater, this can be mitigated through chlorination or by increasing the water velocity in heat exchangers.
Titanium's fatigue performance remains consistent whether tested in air or seawater, showing no decrease in fatigue endurance limits or *** growth rates.
Placed near the noble end of the galvanic series, titanium typically acts as a cathode when paired with other metals. While it remains unaffected by galvanic corrosion, it can accelerate the corrosion of the other metal. Coupling titanium with more noble metals like graphite further enhances its passivity.
Grade 2 Titanium Rod uniquely does not exhibit degradation in fatigue properties in seawater environments. Both fatigue endurance limits and *** growth rates remain stable whether tested in air or seawater.
CP2 Grade Titanium Rod is highly weldable with necessary precautions. Due to titanium's reactivity, an inert gas shield is required on both the OD and ID of the rod, and the material must be free of grease or oil contamination.
Typically welded using manual or automatic TIG welding, with or without filler wire, Grade 2 Titanium Rod requires low heat input to minimize the heat-affected zone, and post-weld heat treatment is generally unnecessary.
