310S Stainless Steel Coil is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel renowned for its remarkable resistance to oxidation, corrosion, and high temperatures. Type 310S stands out with superior oxidation resistance and robust creep strength, effectively withstanding temperatures up to 2000˚F in dry air. It forms a durable oxide scale at high temperatures, excelling in thermal cycling applications, and surpassing Type 309. In mildly carburizing environments, Type 310 offers excellent resistance to both sulfidation and carburization. As a low-carbon variant, Type 310S is easier to shape and weld, maintaining non-magnetic properties when annealed and cold wrought, and providing better corrosion resistance compared to Type 304/304L.
