Ti 6Al-4V (Grade 5 Titanium): Dominating the Titanium Alloy Tube Market by accounting for over 50% of total titanium usage. Typically used in an annealed state with operating temperatures up to 400°C (750°F), it is welded using matching or ELI filler wire. It offers significantly higher strength than commercial pure titanium tubes, enhanced stiffness, and better thermal properties (excluding thermal conductivity). The thermal conductivity of Grade 5 titanium tube is approximately 60% lower than that of CP titanium. It can be heat treated for ideal strength and performance. Grade 5 titanium seamless tubes excel in formability, low density, and superior corrosion resistance.
Our Premium Grade 5 Titanium Alloy Tube exemplifies the pinnacle of engineering with its unmatched strength, corrosion resistance, superb weldability, and machinability. This versatile marvel is integral to a multitude of cutting-edge applications, ranging from military aircraft and aviation industry components to rocket parts, precision-guided ordnance, armor parts, naval equipment, and military vacuum systems. Additionally, the closely related 6-4 ELI variant is indispensable for surgical implants. This remarkable alloy thrives in demanding environments up to 400°C, enhancing ductility and toughness in cold working conditions while boasting exceptional specific strength. Commonly supplied in the annealed state, it is readily heat-treated to bolster strength for diverse applications. Known as the ultimate general-purpose titanium alloy, the Ti 6Al-4V titanium seamless tube maintains an array of ideal properties across a temperature spectrum from -210°C to 400°C. As the most commercialized grade among titanium alloys, Grade 5 titanium alloy tube stands out with its unparalleled high strength, toughness, and excellent welding and processing characteristics.
