Duplex 2507 stainless steel is a super duplex material characterized by low carbon content (up to 0.03%) and enriched with approximately 25% chromium, 7% nickel, and 4% molybdenum. Engineered for demanding applications requiring high strength and superior corrosion resistance, this steel is ideal for chemical process equipment, the petrochemical industry, and seawater installations. Its high resistance to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking, along with exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and other forms of corrosion due to its high chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen content, makes it indispensable in critical environments.

Super duplex seamless pipes are extensively used in the oil and gas industry, particularly in high-salinity horizontal wells and brine injection wells to enhance oil recovery. These pipes offer remarkable resistance to corrosion, fatigue, and erosion, and are highly resistant to uniform corrosion from organic acids like acetic and formic acids.
