Ti 6Al-4V (Grade 5 Titanium) is the most extensively used titanium alloy, accounting for over 50% of total titanium utilization. Typically used in the annealed state, it operates up to 400°C (750°F) and is welded with matching or ELI filler wire. It offers significantly higher strength than commercial pure titanium, with superior stiffness and thermal properties (excluding thermal conductivity). The thermal conductivity of Grade 5 titanium is about 60% lower than CP titanium. Its heat-treatable nature allows for enhanced strength and performance. The seamless tubes boast strong formability, low density, and excellent corrosion resistance.
This grade is an ideal blend of strength, corrosion resistance, weldability, and machinability. It is widely applied in military aircraft, aviation, rocket parts, precision-guided components, armor parts, ship equipment, and military vacuum equipment. The 6-4ELI variant is also employed in surgical implants. Typically used at temperatures up to 400°C, it enhances ductility and toughness in cold working conditions. Grade 5 titanium alloy tubes, provided in the annealed state, can easily be heat treated for increased strength, making them versatile for various applications between -210°C and 400°C. This titanium alloy is the most commercialized, offering a unique combination of high strength and toughness, with excellent welding and processing properties.

Both heat-treated and non-heat-treated variants are available. Our advanced facilities include 100% ultrasonic flaw detection capabilities, ensuring unparalleled quality and reliability.

Hot-rolled Titanium Tubes: Outer Diameter (OD) ranges from 19mm to 325mm, wall thickness from 9mm to 30mm, and lengths up to 5000mm (subject to manufacturer-customer agreement); - Hot-extruded Titanium Tubes: OD from 50mm to 160mm, wall thickness from 7mm to 35mm, and lengths up to 3000mm (subject to manufacturer-customer agreement).
Cold-finished Titanium Tubes
Cold-finished Titanium Tubes are meticulously processed, available in heat-treated, surface-etched forms. They undergo hydrostatic or ultrasonic testing based on specific manufacturing requirements. Specifications include: OD from 6mm to 89mm, wall thickness from 0.5mm to 11mm, and lengths up to 6000mm (subject to manufacturer-customer agreement).
Titanium Welded Pipes
DaXun specializes in manufacturing high-quality titanium pipes with diameters ranging from 12.7mm (0.5 in) to 38.1mm (1.5 in), wall thickness from 0.4mm to 1.65mm, and lengths up to 25000mm. These are available in electrical Gr1, Gr2, and Gr12 titanium alloys, tailored for engineering and chemical industries. The pipes are produced from flat-rolled raw material using automated tungsten inert gas (argon) welding and are heat-treated on the mill line. The finished pipes undergo rigorous mechanical testing, geometrical measurements, 100% ultrasonic and eddy current testing, along with pneumatic or hydrostatic testing, ensuring compliance with ASTM B 338 and ASME SB 338 standards. Customer-specific packaging is also available.
