Grade 2 Titanium Welded Tube: Diameter ranges from 6.0mm to 1219mm, wall thickness ranges from 0.3mm to 30mm (depending on diameter), lengths up to 25000mm, made from Gr1 titanium tube. Welded tubes are made from flat rolled billets (tube blanks) on electric tube welding machines using automatic tungsten inert gas (argon) welding, and heat treated on the mill line. Mechanical tests, geometric measurements, 100% ultrasonic and eddy current testing, pneumatic or hydrostatic testing are performed before the finished titanium welded tubes are packaged according to customer specifications. Manufacturing technology as well as inspection and testing equipment ensure that thin wall welded tubes meet ASTM B 338 and ASME SB 338 specifications.
Daxun's Grade 2 Titanium Tube has medium strength and excellent cold forming properties. It has excellent welding properties and has excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosion.
Buy Grade 2 Titanium Tubes from Daxun; we can offer you a wide range of sizes, starting from 1.0 mm diameter, in a wide variety, either directly from stock or custom made to your specifications. We can immediately provide drawn, seamless rolled or longitudinally welded tubes for a variety of applications from stock. We sell welded or seamless tubes made of Grade 2 Titanium to typical specifications for heat exchangers such as ASTM B 338, ASME SB 338, DIN and VD TÜV.
Our CP Grade 2 tubes have a density of 4.51 g/cm3, which is 45% lower than ferrous alloys. It is a medium-strength alloy with a typical yield strength of 352 MPa. The alloy has good ductility, formability and welding properties. The addition of iron and oxygen improves strength and formability. CP Grade 2 exhibits similar performance qualities to Grade 1, including excellent corrosion resistance under oxidizing conditions. However, this titanium tube is stronger than Grade 1 titanium tube.
Grade 2 Titanium Tubes are commercially pure titanium with a good balance between strength and ductility. The material has good toughness. It is the most commonly used titanium alloy due to its high strength, weldability and corrosion resistance. Its high ductility and formability make it the alloy of choice for piping systems, heat exchangers, reaction and pressure vessels, and flue gas desulfurization systems. Grade 2 titanium alloys are used in a variety of industries, including chemical processing, petrochemical processing, aerospace and marine.
Titanium Seamless Tubes
Daxun produces:
Hot-finished Titanium Tubes
These tubes are supplied in the form of hot-rolled or hot-extruded, straightened, machined inside and outside diameters, and surface polished. Titanium tubes are available in heat-treated or non-heat-treated forms. Our company has 100% ultrasonic flaw detection capabilities.
Titanium Tube Materials Available:
Hot-rolled Titanium Tubes: OD 19mm to 325mm, wall thickness 9mm to 30mm, length up to 5000mm (to be agreed on a case-by-case basis between the manufacturer and the customer); - Hot-extruded Titanium Tubes: OD 50mm to 160mm, wall thickness 7mm to 35mm, length up to 3000 (to be agreed on a case-by-case basis between the manufacturer and the customer).
Cold-finished Titanium Tubes
Cold-finished Titanium Tubes are supplied in the form of heat-treated, surface-etched, hydrostatically tested, or ultrasonically tested, depending on the requirements of the manufacturing specifications. Tubes Supplied:- OD 6mm to 89mm, wall thickness 0.5mm to 11mm, length up to 6000mm (to be agreed on a case-by-case basis between the manufacturer and the customer).
Titanium Welded Pipes
DaXun manufactures and supplies titanium pipes with diameters from 100 mm. 12.7 to 38.1 mm (0.47 in to 1.5 in), wall thickness from 0.4 to 1.65 mm (0.016 in to 0.065 in, depending on diameter), lengths up to 25000 mm, electrical Gr1, Gr2 and Gr12 titanium alloy pipes for engineering and chemical industries. Titanium welded pipes are made from flat rolled raw material (kelp) by automatic tungsten inert gas (argon) welding on electric pipe welders and heat treated on the mill line. Finished titanium welded pipes undergo mechanical testing, geometrical measurements, 100% ultrasonic and eddy current testing, pneumatic or hydrostatic testing; pipes are packed as per customer specifications. Manufacturing processes and inspection test equipment ensure thin wall welded pipes comply with ASTM B 338, ASME SB 338 standards.
