Grade 2 Titanium Welded Tube: With diameters ranging from 6.0mm to 1219mm and wall thicknesses from 0.3mm to 30mm (depending on diameter), these tubes can reach lengths up to 25,000mm. Crafted from Gr1 titanium, they are produced using flat rolled billets (tube blanks) on state-of-the-art electric tube welding machines with automatic tungsten inert gas (argon) welding and are heat treated on the mill line. Each tube undergoes thorough mechanical testing, geometric measurements, 100% ultrasonic and eddy current testing, and either pneumatic or hydrostatic testing to ensure unparalleled quality. All finished titanium welded tubes are packaged per customer specifications. Our cutting-edge manufacturing technology combined with rigorous inspection and testing procedures guarantees that our thin-wall welded tubes meet the stringent ASTM B 338 and ASME SB 338 specifications.
Daxun's Grade 2 Titanium Tubes exhibit medium strength along with exceptional cold forming capabilities. They are renowned for their excellent weldability, oxidation, and corrosion resistance.
Purchase Grade 2 Titanium Tubes from Daxun. We offer an extensive range of sizes, starting from a 1.0mm diameter, available directly from stock or custom-made to your specifications. We provide drawn, seamless rolled, or longitudinally welded tubes for various applications from our inventory. Our tubes, made of Grade 2 Titanium, comply with industry standards such as ASTM B 338, ASME SB 338, DIN, and VD TÜV, specifically designed for heat exchangers.
Our CP Grade 2 tubes have a density of 4.51 g/cm³, which is 45% lighter than ferrous alloys. This medium-strength alloy boasts a typical yield strength of 352 MPa, alongside excellent ductility, formability, and welding properties. The addition of iron and oxygen enhances both strength and formability. CP Grade 2 maintains similar performance qualities to Grade 1, including excellent corrosion resistance under oxidizing conditions, but offers greater strength.
Grade 2 Titanium Tubes are commercially pure titanium, offering an ideal balance between strength and ductility. Known for its excellent toughness, this alloy is the most popular choice due to its high strength, weldability, and corrosion resistance. Its high ductility and formability make it suitable for piping systems, heat exchangers, reaction and pressure vessels, and flue gas desulfurization systems. Grade 2 titanium alloys find extensive use across a wide range of industries, including chemical processing, petrochemical processing, aerospace, and marine.
