There are two main processes for producing stainless steel angles, namely laser welding and hot rolling. Hot-rolled stainless steel angles are more affordable. They usually have rounded or tapered edges. On the other hand, laser-welded stainless steel angles have consistent, sharp, and square corners. They also have sandblasted and smoother surfaces. Laser-welded stainless steel angles have a higher surface finish than hot-rolled stainless steel angles.

- 316 Stainless Steel Angle is an austenitic chromium nickel angle shape containing molybdenum which provides superior corrosion resistance and increased strength at elevated temperatures when compared to 304 Stainless.

304 and 316 Grade Stainless Steel Angles
- This versatile right angle steel has a wide range of applications and is available in grades 304 /30L and 316 /316L. Grade 304 is the most versatile and commonly used grade of stainless steel angle steel and is suitable for most general applications. It is easy to weld and has good formability and corrosion resistance. Sometimes called 18/8 stainless steel because its composition includes 18% chromium and 8% nickel, grade 304 is well suited to most applications.
