Enhanced with higher levels of chromium, nickel, and molybdenum, it provides exceptional resistance to corrosion and a wide array of chemicals such as sulfite, acetic, formic, citric, and tartaric acids. Its low carbon content ensures resistance to sensitization during welding, and it boasts superior creep resistance, rupture stress, and tensile strength at elevated temperatures. While nonmagnetic in the annealed condition, it may exhibit slight magnetism post-welding.
