310S Stainless Steel Coil is an exceptional austenitic chromium-nickel alloy, renowned for its outstanding resistance to oxidation, corrosion, and high temperatures. Type 310S stands out with its high-temperature endurance, offering superior oxidation resistance up to 2000˚F in dry air. It forms a robust oxide scale, surpassing Type 309 in thermal cycling applications. In mildly carburizing environments, Type 310S excels in resisting sulfidation and carburization. As a low-carbon variant of Type 310, 310S is easier to shape and weld. When annealed and cold wrought, it remains nonmagnetic and provides enhanced corrosion resistance compared to Type 304/304L.
