Thanks to its high chromium and nickel content, it excels in high-temperature applications, providing robust corrosion and oxidation resistance while maintaining remarkable strength at temperatures up to 2100°F. This composition allows it to outperform 304 or 309 stainless steel bars in numerous scenarios.

RESISTANCE

CORROSION RESISTANCE

HEAT RESISTANCE
- Displays strong resistance to oxidation in intermittent air service up to 1040°C and 1150°C in continuous service.
- Resists thermal fatigue and cyclic heating efficiently.
- Widely used where *** dioxide gas is present at elevated temperatures.
- Continuous use in the 425-860°C range is not advised if subsequent aqueous corrosion resistance is required due to carbide precipitation.
- Typically employed at temperatures starting from about 800 or 900°C, surpassing the effectiveness range of 304H and 321.
FABRICATION
