Titanium round bars are among Jiangsu Daxun Alloy Co., Ltd.'s most coveted titanium products. The production process for Grade 1 Titanium bars is more mechanized compared to blocks and plates. Grade 1 Titanium bars are available in over forty distinct grades, with Grade 5, Grade 2, and Grade 1 being the most sought after. These titanium round bars come in a diverse range of diameters, reaching up to 14 inches. Pure Titanium Grade 1 offers exceptional ductility and cold formability, making it ideal for deep drawing applications. Renowned for its superior general and seawater corrosion resistance, Titanium Grade 1 also excels in resisting oxidizing, neutral, and mildly reducing media such as chlorides. The metal's low density-approximately half that of nickel-based alloys-along with its high strength-to-weight ratio and remarkable corrosion resistance, makes it a top choice for various demanding chemical environments.
DAXUN® Ti Grade 1: A commercially pure (CP) titanium bar characterized by:
Jiangsu Daxun Alloy Co., Ltd. produces top-tier titanium bars with high performance and offers manufacturing options based on customer specifications:
Daxun conducts rigorous quality assurance tests, including mechanical tests like tensile area testing, chemical analysis, material positive identification (PMI) test, micro and macro testing, intergranular corrosion (IGC) test, ultrasonic flaw detection, pitting and resistance tests, hardness tests, material positive identification, and expansion tests. These tests ensure that the Grade 2 Titanium Rod and Grade 2 Titanium Round Bar materials meet the required application standards. Throughout production, we meticulously measure the diameter, thickness, and surface of our products.

AMS 4928 - Bars, Forgings, and Forging Stock (Annealed)
AMS 4965 - Bars, Forgings (Solution Treated and Aged)
AMS 4967 - Bars, Forgings (Annealed, Heat Treatable)
In the solution treated and aged condition, rapid quenching of small sections yields optimum properties. Larger sections and/or delayed quenching may result in less than optimal properties.
In the annealed condition, typical hardness is Rockwell C 30-34, and in the solution and aged condition, it is Rockwell C 35-39.
The Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 alloy bar is best machined using techniques similar to those for austenitic stainless steel. This requires slow machining speeds, high feed rates, rigid tooling, and the liberal application of non-chlorinated cutting fluids to ensure precision and surface quality.
The Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 alloy rod boasts excellent weldability in both its annealed state and its solution and partially aged condition, with aging being achieved through post-weld heat treatment. Care must be taken to avoid contamination by oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen. Fusion welding can be effectively performed in an inert gas environment, ensuring protection of the molten metal and heated zones with a tail shield. Techniques like spot, seam, and flash welding can be executed without relying on a protective atmosphere.
There are critical considerations when working with Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 titanium alloy rod. It may become contaminated with hydrogen from improper pickling, and with oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon during processes like forging, heat treating, and brazing. Such contamination can lead to reduced ductility, negatively impacting the material's notch sensitivity and forming characteristics.
We produce bars meticulously tailored to your specifications.
Our bars showcase excellent surface quality and straightness, perfect roundness, and the tightest diameter tolerances (as per ISO 286-2 up to h5). Available in straightened, ground, and polished conditions.

Advisory: Titanium should not be used with strong reducing acids, fluoride solutions, pure oxygen, or anhydrous ***.
Grade 2 titanium exhibits outstanding general corrosion resistance across various media, detailed in Table 1. CP titanium performs admirably in diverse environments, including:
CP titanium demonstrates superior resistance to crevice corrosion in salt solutions compared to stainless steels. It remains resilient at temperatures below 80 °C (176°F) across all pH levels, even under super-chlorinated conditions.
Grade 2 titanium provides exceptional resistance to stress corrosion cracking in hot chloride solutions and is immune to SCC in seawater.
Titanium exhibits outstanding resistance to erosion in flowing environments.
Seawater with velocities reaching up to 130 ft/sec (40 m/sec) has shown negligible effect on our Titanium Rod Gr1 ASTM B348 material. Even with abrasive particles like sand, the corrosion resistance remains outstanding.
There is no significant hydrogen absorption into titanium when exposed to seawater, even at elevated temperatures. Hydrogen absorption typically occurs only under the following conditions:
Titanium alloys exhibit unique immunity to all forms of microbiologically influenced corrosion. Titanium alloys are non-toxic to marine organisms, allowing biofouling in seawater. This can be minimized through chlorination or increased water velocity through heat exchangers.
Unlike many materials, our Titanium Rod Gr1 ASTM B348 does not exhibit a decrease in fatigue performance in seawater. Fatigue endurance limits and *** growth rates are consistent whether tested in air or seawater.
In the galvanic series, titanium is positioned towards the noble end near stainless steels, usually acting as the cathode when coupled with other metals. Titanium remains unaffected by galvanic corrosion but can accelerate corrosion in the coupled metal. When coupled with more noble metals like graphite, titanium's passivity is enhanced.
Grade 2 Titanium Rod retains its fatigue properties in the presence of seawater. Both fatigue endurance limits and fatigue *** growth rates remain consistent whether in air or seawater.
CP2 Grade Titanium Rod is highly weldable given the proper precautions. Due to titanium's reactivity, an inert gas shield is required on both the OD and ID of the rod. The material must be free from grease or oil contamination.
Grade 2 Titanium Rod is commonly welded using manual or automatic TIG welding, with or without filler wire. Low heat input is recommended to minimize the heat-affected zone size. Post-weld heat treatment is generally not required.
