Hot-finished Titanium Tubes
These premium titanium tubes are supplied as hot-rolled or hot-extruded, meticulously straightened, with expertly machined inside and outside diameters, and a polished surface finish. Available in both heat-treated and non-heat-treated forms, our tubes undergo rigorous quality checks, including 100% ultrasonic flaw detection, ensuring unparalleled reliability.
Titanium Tube Materials Available:
Hot-rolled Titanium Tubes: Outer Diameter (OD) ranging from 19mm to 325mm, wall thickness from 9mm to 30mm, and lengths up to 5000mm (negotiable on a case-by-case basis). - Hot-extruded Titanium Tubes: Outer Diameter (OD) from 50mm to 160mm, wall thickness from 7mm to 35mm, and lengths up to 3000mm (negotiable on a case-by-case basis).
Cold-finished Titanium Tubes
Cold-finished Titanium Tubes are available heat-treated, surface-etched, and tested either hydrostatically or ultrasonically based on specific manufacturing requirements. Specifications include: Outer Diameter (OD) spanning from 6mm to 89mm, wall thickness from 0.5mm to 11mm, and lengths up to 6000mm (negotiable on a case-by-case basis).
Titanium Welded Pipes
DaXun manufactures and supplies precision titanium pipes with diameters from 12.7 mm to 38.1 mm (0.47 in to 1.5 in), wall thickness from 0.4 mm to 1.65 mm (0.016 in to 0.065 in), and lengths up to 25000 mm. These pipes, available in Gr1, Gr2, and Gr12 titanium alloys, are crafted using flat rolled raw material through automated tungsten inert gas (argon) welding and heat treated on the mill line. Each welded pipe undergoes extensive mechanical and geometrical testing, 100% ultrasonic and eddy current inspections, as well as pneumatic or hydrostatic testing. Compliance with ASTM B 338 and ASME SB 338 standards is rigorously maintained, and products are packed to customer specifications.

Weldability of the Grade 12 Ti 0.3 Mo 0.8 Ni alloy is rated as excellent, ensuring robust and reliable joints.
To anneal the Grade 12 Ti 0.3 Mo 0.8 Ni alloy, heat the material to 732-816°C (1350-1500°F), hold for 2 hours, followed by air cooling. For intermediate stress relief, heat to 538-649°C (1000-1200°F), hold for 1 hour, then air cool.
Perform rough forging at 871°C (1600°F) and complete the process at 788-843°C (1450-1550°F) for optimal results.
Hot working this alloy significantly enhances its overall ductility, making it more malleable.
The cold working characteristics mirror those of austenitic stainless steel. Post-work annealing is advised to restore the material's performance properties.
