310S Stainless Steel Coil is an exceptional austenitic chromium-nickel alloy known for its outstanding resistance to oxidation, corrosion, and high temperatures. Type 310S excels with its superior creep strength and oxidation resistance up to 2000˚F in dry air, creating a robust oxide scale that resists spalling, surpassing Type 309 in thermal cycling applications. It also withstands mildly carburizing atmospheres, effectively resisting sulfidation and carburization. As a low-carbon variant of Type 310, it offers easier formability and weldability. When annealed and cold wrought, 310S remains nonmagnetic and provides enhanced corrosion resistance compared to Type 304/304L.
