Grade 5 titanium tubes are renowned for their versatility, being extensively utilized in the following high-demand industries, particularly under extreme corrosive conditions:
Daxun conducts rigorous quality assurance tests, including flattening, flaring, ultrasonic flaw detection, pitting, resistance, mechanical, hardness tests, material positive identification, and expansion tests. These ensure that Grade 1 Titanium Welded Pipe and Grade 1 Titanium Seamless Pipe meet the highest standards for required applications. During production, we meticulously measure the diameter, thickness, and surface of our products. Standard delivery time is 5-7 days, with special size products delivered within 15-20 days.
Ti-6Al4V Grade 5 Titanium Alloy Tube is the most commercially utilized titanium alloy, offering a unique combination of high strength and toughness. Grade 5 titanium alloy is highly regarded for its excellent welding and processing characteristics:
We stock and distribute Grade 5 Titanium Alloy Seamless Tubes, Forged Seamless Tubes, Welded Tubes, and more.
As a premier titanium alloy tube manufacturer and supplier in China, Daxun Alloy offers superior Grade 5 titanium pipes, earning high praise from numerous projects worldwide.
Ti 6Al-4V (Grade 5 Titanium) is the most extensively used titanium alloy tube, representing over 50% of total titanium usage. Typically used in the annealed state, it operates at temperatures up to 400°C (750°F) and is welded with matching or ELI filler wire. Ti 6Al/4V boasts significantly higher strength than commercially pure titanium tubes, along with superior stiffness and thermal properties (excluding thermal conductivity), which is about 60% lower than CP titanium. Additionally, it can be heat treated for optimal strength and performance. The seamless tubes offer strong formability, low density, and excellent corrosion resistance.
Grade 5 titanium tubes strike a perfect balance of strength, corrosion resistance, weldability, and machinability, making them indispensable in fields such as military aircraft, aviation, rocket parts, precision-guided components, armor parts, ship equipment, and military vacuum equipment. The closely related 6-4, 6-4ELI variants are popular in surgical implants. Typically used up to 400°C to enhance ductility and toughness in cold working conditions, Grade 5 titanium alloy tubes exhibit excellent specific strength. Delivered in the annealed state, they are easily heat-treatable to boost strength for diverse applications. As the most commercialized titanium alloy, Ti 6Al-4V tubes provide outstanding properties across a wide temperature range from -210°C to 400°C, combining high strength and toughness with excellent welding and processing attributes.
