Grade 2 Titanium Welded Tube: Diameter ranges from 6.0mm to 1219mm, wall thickness ranges from 0.3mm to 30mm (depending on diameter), lengths up to 25000mm, made from Gr1 titanium tube. Welded tubes are meticulously produced from flat rolled billets (tube blanks) on state-of-the-art electric tube welding machines using automatic tungsten inert gas (argon) welding. Following welding, they undergo heat treatment on the mill line. Comprehensive mechanical tests, geometric measurements, 100% ultrasonic and eddy current testing, as well as either pneumatic or hydrostatic testing are carried out before packaging according to customer specifications. Our advanced manufacturing technology and rigorous inspection and testing equipment ensure that our thin wall welded tubes meet ASTM B 338 and ASME SB 338 specifications.
Daxun's Grade 2 Titanium Tube boasts medium strength and exceptional cold forming properties. It is distinguished by excellent welding capabilities and superior resistance to oxidation and corrosion.
Purchase Grade 2 Titanium Tubes from Daxun; we offer an extensive range of sizes starting from 1.0mm diameter, available either directly from stock or custom-made to your specifications. We can promptly supply drawn, seamless rolled, or longitudinally welded tubes for various applications from stock. Our welded or seamless tubes made of Grade 2 Titanium adhere to typical specifications for heat exchangers such as ASTM B 338, ASME SB 338, DIN, and VD TÜV.
Our CP Grade 2 tubes possess a density of 4.51 g/cm3, making them 45% lighter than ferrous alloys. This medium-strength alloy has a typical yield strength of 352 MPa and offers excellent ductility, formability, and welding properties. The inclusion of iron and oxygen enhances its strength and formability. CP Grade 2 exhibits similar performance to Grade 1, including outstanding corrosion resistance under oxidizing conditions, but is stronger than Grade 1 titanium tube.
Grade 2 Titanium Tubes are composed of commercially pure titanium that balances strength and ductility. This material is renowned for its good toughness and is the most widely used titanium alloy due to its high strength, weldability, and corrosion resistance. Its high ductility and formability make it ideal for piping systems, heat exchangers, reaction and pressure vessels, and flue gas desulfurization systems. Grade 2 titanium alloys find applications in diverse industries such as chemical processing, petrochemical processing, aerospace, and marine.
