Grade 2 Titanium Welded Tube: Diameter ranges from 6.0mm to 1219mm, with wall thickness ranging from 0.3mm to 30mm (depending on diameter), and lengths stretching up to 25000mm. Fabricated from Gr1 titanium tube, these welded tubes are produced from flat rolled billets (tube blanks) on electric tube welding machines using the precision of automatic tungsten inert gas (argon) welding, and subsequently heat-treated on the mill line. Each welded tube undergoes a rigorous battery of mechanical tests, geometric measurements, and comprehensive ultrasonic and eddy current testing. Additionally, pneumatic or hydrostatic testing is conducted to ensure the highest standards are met before packaging according to customer specifications. Our cutting-edge manufacturing technology, combined with state-of-the-art inspection and testing equipment, guarantees that our thin-wall welded tubes fully comply with ASTM B 338 and ASME SB 338 specifications.
Daxun's Grade 2 Titanium Tube stands out for its medium strength and superior cold forming capabilities. It boasts exceptional welding properties and outstanding resistance to both oxidation and corrosion.
Purchase Grade 2 Titanium Tubes from Daxun: We offer a broad spectrum of sizes, starting from 1.0 mm in diameter, available either directly from stock or custom-made to your precise specifications. We provide immediate delivery of drawn, seamless rolled, or longitudinally welded tubes for diverse applications. Our stock includes welded or seamless tubes made of Grade 2 Titanium, adhering to stringent specifications for heat exchangers such as ASTM B 338, ASME SB 338, DIN, and VD TÜV.
Our CP Grade 2 Tubes boast a density of 4.51 g/cm3, making them 45% lighter than ferrous alloys. This medium-strength alloy exhibits a typical yield strength of 352 MPa. Its favorable properties include good ductility, formability, and welding capabilities. Enhanced with iron and oxygen, the alloy achieves improved strength and formability. CP Grade 2 offers excellent corrosion resistance under oxidizing conditions, while being stronger than Grade 1 titanium tube.
Grade 2 Titanium Tubes epitomize commercially pure titanium, presenting a balanced combination of strength and ductility. Renowned for its good toughness, this material is the most widely used titanium alloy, appreciated for its high strength, weldability, and corrosion resistance. Its exceptional ductility and formability make it the preferred choice for piping systems, heat exchangers, reaction and pressure vessels, and flue gas desulfurization systems. Grade 2 titanium alloys are pivotal in diverse industries, including chemical processing, petrochemical processing, aerospace, and marine sectors.
