Titanium round bars stand out as one of Daxun Alloy China's most sought-after titanium products. The production of Grade 1 Titanium bars is highly mechanized compared to blocks and plates, ensuring superior quality and consistency. With over forty distinct grades available, including the highly favored Grade 5, Grade 2, and Grade 1, our titanium round bars come in diameters up to 14 inches. Pure Titanium Grade 1 is renowned for its excellent ductility and cold formability, making it perfect for deep drawing applications. It boasts outstanding general and seawater corrosion resistance, and effectively withstands oxidizing, neutral, and mildly reducing environments, such as chlorides. With a low density (about half that of nickel-based alloys), impressive strength-to-weight ratio, and remarkable corrosion resistance, Titanium Grade 1 is an ideal choice for challenging chemical settings.
DAXUN® Ti Grade 1 is a commercially pure (CP) titanium bar, distinguished by these exceptional characteristics:
Daxun specializes in producing high-quality titanium bars that meet rigorous performance standards and can tailor production to customer specifications:
Daxun conducts an array of quality assurance tests, including mechanical tests such as area tensile, chemical analysis, material positive identification (PMI test), micro and macro testing, intergranular corrosion (IGC) test, ultrasonic flaw detection, pitting and resistance tests, hardness tests, and expansion tests. These exhaustive tests ensure that our Grade 2 Titanium Rod and Grade 2 Titanium Round Bar materials meet the necessary application standards. Throughout the production process, we meticulously measure the diameter, thickness, and surface quality of each product.

AMS 4928 - Bars, Forgings, and Forging Stock (Annealed)
AMS 4965 - Bars, Forgings (Solution treated and aged)
AMS 4967 - Bars, Forgings (Annealed, Heat Treatable)
In the solution treated and aged condition, rapid quenching of small sections achieves optimal properties. Larger section sizes and/or delayed quenching may yield less-than-optimal properties.
In the annealed condition, the typical hardness is Rockwell C 30-34, while in the solution and aged condition, it ranges around Rockwell C 35-39.
The Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 alloy bar showcases excellent machinability using austenitic stainless steel machining techniques. Employing slow machining speeds, high feeds, rigid tools, and an ample supply of non-chlorinated cutting fluids ensures optimal results.
The Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 alloy rod is highly weldable in both the annealed and solution plus partially aged conditions. Aging is achieved during post-weld heat treatment. It is crucial to prevent contamination by oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen. Fusion welding should be performed in an inert gas-filled chamber or with inert gas shielding the molten metal and adjacent heated zones, using a tail shield. Spot, seam, and flash welding can be conducted without a protective atmosphere.
The Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 titanium alloy rod is prone to contamination by hydrogen from improper pickling, and by oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon during forging, heat treating, brazing, etc. Such contamination may lead to reduced ductility, negatively impacting notch sensitivity and forming properties.
Our bars are produced to meet your specific requirements.
We ensure excellent surface quality, straightness, perfect roundness, and the tightest diameter tolerances (up to h5 according to ISO 286-2). Available in straightened, ground, and polished conditions.

Usage Notes: Avoid Strong Reducing Acids, Fluoride Solutions, Pure Oxygen, and Anhydrous ***
Refer to Table 1 for general corrosion rates of Grade 2 titanium across various media. CP titanium demonstrates exceptional resistance in diverse environments, such as:
CP titanium offers superior resistance to crevice corrosion in salt solutions, outperforming stainless steels. No crevice corrosion below 80°C (176°F), even in highly chlorinated conditions.
Grade 2 titanium demonstrates excellent resistance to SCC in hot chloride solutions and remains immune to SCC in seawater.
Titanium exhibits outstanding resistance to erosion in high-velocity environments.
Our Pure Titanium Rod Gr1 exhibits exceptional durability, even when exposed to seawater velocities up to 130 ft/sec (40 m/sec), with negligible impact on the material. This robust resistance remains largely unaffected by abrasive elements like sand, ensuring long-lasting performance.
Remarkably, titanium demonstrates an outstanding resistance to hydrogen absorption, even when exposed to seawater at elevated temperatures. Hydrogen absorption typically only occurs when three specific conditions are simultaneously met:
Titanium alloys display a unique resistance to all forms of microbiologically influenced corrosion. Despite their non-toxic properties toward marine organisms, biofouling can occur in seawater environments. This issue can be effectively managed through chlorination or by increasing the water velocity in the heat exchanger.
Unlike many other materials, titanium's fatigue performance remains unaffected by seawater. The fatigue endurance limits and *** growth rates are consistent whether tested in air or seawater, ensuring reliable durability.
Titanium ranks near the noble end of the galvanic series, close to stainless steels, and generally acts as the cathode when paired with other metals. This positioning means titanium itself is not subject to galvanic corrosion and can actually accelerate the corrosion of the other metal. When coupled with more noble metals like graphite, titanium's passivity is further enhanced.
Grade 2 Titanium Rod stands out for its unyielding fatigue properties, maintaining performance in both air and seawater conditions. Fatigue endurance limits and *** growth rates show no degradation, underscoring its reliability.
CP2 Grade Titanium Rod is highly weldable, provided the necessary precautions are taken. Due to titanium's reactive nature, an inert gas shield is required on both the OD and ID of the rod, and the material must be free from grease or oil contamination to ensure optimal welding.
Grade 2 Titanium Rod is typically welded using manual or automatic TIG welding, either with or without filler wire. Employing low heat input minimizes the heat-affected zone, and post-weld heat treatment is generally unnecessary.
