DAXUN excels in producing and maintaining an extensive inventory of Grade 2 (UNS R50400) commercially pure titanium plates, with thicknesses spanning from 0.5mm to 120mm. Revered as the cornerstone of the commercially pure titanium series, Grade 2 seamlessly melds high strength, impressive ductility, and exceptional corrosion resistance, making it indispensable for numerous industrial applications.
Grade 2 Titanium Plate, embodying commercially pure titanium, strikes a perfect harmony between strength and ductility. Its remarkable impact strength and superior weldability are complemented by its robust corrosion resistance, rendering it ideal for harsh, oxidizing environments, alkaline media, brine solutions, mildly reducing surroundings, and wet *** exposure. Furthermore, its unmatched resilience against seawater and salt solutions makes it indispensable.
Renowned for its low density and an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, titanium is the go-to material for diverse applications. It's particularly effective against stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion in chloride solutions below 70°C. With a melting point of 1660°C, Grade 2 Titanium Plate stands as the premier alloy choice for demanding industrial applications requiring superior ductility and corrosion resistance.
Boasting a lower density, Grade 2 titanium plate is perfect for weight-sensitive applications. It shines in medical, chemical equipment, and aerospace industries, and its robust strength and corrosion resistance make it ideal for the marine, chemical processing, and desalination sectors. Typical applications span oil and gas components, reaction and pressure vessels, piping systems, power, heat exchangers, linings, flue gas desulfurization systems, and several other industrial components. Adheres to standards such as ASTM B265, ASTM F67, AMS4911, AMS4928, AMS4943, AMS4944, AMS4945, AMS4967, AMS4972.
At Daxun, rigorous quality assurance tests, including flattening, pitting and resistance, mechanical, hardness, material positive identification, and expansion tests, ensure material suitability for all intended applications. Diameter, thickness, and surface dimensions are meticulously measured throughout production. Our standard delivery window is 5-7 days, with special size orders taking 15-20 days.
Titanium Grade 2 Plates come in cold rolled thicknesses from 0.3 mm to 6.0 mm. These plates are supplied in hot rolled or heat treated conditions. Additionally, hot rolled thicknesses range from 4.76 mm to 155 mm. Produced through longitudinal and transverse rolling, these plates can undergo creep flattening as a heat treatment to relieve internal stresses and meet specific flatness requirements. Plates can be delivered in cut blank form, tailored to complex shapes cut from a parent plate. Further mechanical or chemical processing depends on customer specifications.
