Here, aluminum stabilizes the α phase, while vanadium stabilizes the β phase. The Gr5 Ti-6Al-4V titanium alloy plate is renowned for its comprehensive performance and excellent processing capabilities. TC4 titanium alloy boasts outstanding room temperature and high-temperature strength, good creep resistance, thermal stability, high fatigue performance, *** growth resistance in seawater, and satisfactory fracture toughness. Its hot salt stress corrosion performance, excellent process plasticity, and superplasticity make it suitable for a variety of processing, welding, and machining methods.

Corrosion Resistance

Gr1, Gr2, Gr3, and Gr4 titanium plates are highly resistant to seawater and marine atmospheric corrosion. The four C.P. grades exhibit similar corrosion resistance, with mechanical properties varying based on oxygen and iron content. These grades resist attack from wet chlorides, metal chlorides, chlorite and hypochlorite solutions, nitric and chromic acids, organic acids, and many industrial gases.

1. Cold-Rolled Titanium Plate: This premium titanium plate is meticulously produced through plate rolling, and the final rolling step employs cold rolling techniques. The sheets are available in either a work-hardened or heat-treated condition, perfectly catering to your specific needs. Subsequent processing can be tailored to your requirements, whether it involves mechanical or chemical treatments. 2. Hot-Rolled Titanium Plate: Manufactured through longitudinal rolling or a combination of longitudinal and transverse rolling, the hot-rolled titanium plate boasts a thickness range from 3.0mm to 155mm. These plates are supplied in a heat-treated state, with optional creep flattening heat treatments available to eliminate internal stresses and ensure exceptional flatness. Sheets can be provided as cut blanks, allowing for complex shapes to be precisely cut from the parent metal. Further processing is entirely customizable to meet your exact specifications.3. Forged Titanium Plate: Engineered through the forging of steel ingots on a vertical hydraulic press, the forged titanium plate undergoes either open die forging or rolling post-forging. Standard slab dimensions include a thickness up to 580 mm, width up to 2000 mm, and length up to 6000 mm. The precise dimensions and weights of the forged plates are collaboratively determined by the manufacturer and the customer, ensuring exacting standards.

Pure Grade 1 titanium plate has excellent ductility and cold formability, making it ideal for deep drawing. Grade 1 titanium is known for its excellent general and seawater corrosion resistance, as well as its resistance to oxidizing, neutral and mildly reducing media (solutions), including chlorides. Titanium's low density (about half that of nickel-based alloys), high strength-to-weight ratio and corrosion resistance make it an excellent choice for a wide range of harsh chemical conditions. Grade 2 Titanium Plate (UNS R50400) is the "workhorse" of the commercially pure titanium family. Grade 2 Titanium Plate is a commercially pure titanium plate. It offers an excellent balance between strength and ductility. It has good impact strength and is easily weldable. It has good corrosion resistance in highly oxidizing environments, alkaline media, brine solutions, weakly reducing environments, and wet ***. It also has excellent resistance to seawater and salt solutions.

Titanium's low density, high strength-to-weight ratio, and corrosion resistance make it an ideal material for a wide range of applications, and it effectively resists stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion in chloride solutions below 70°C.
