DAXUN manufactures and inventories commercially pure titanium plates, specifically Grade 2 (UNS R50400), with thicknesses ranging from 0.5mm to 120mm. Grade 2 Titanium Plate, known as the 'workhorse' of the pure titanium family, offers an exceptional balance of high strength, ductility, and outstanding corrosion resistance, making it indispensable for a myriad of industrial applications.
Grade 2 Titanium Plate, a commercially pure titanium plate, delivers an impressive equilibrium of strength and ductility. It is characterized by excellent impact strength and weldability, alongside robust corrosion resistance in highly oxidizing environments, alkaline media, brine solutions, weakly reducing environments, and wet ***. Additionally, it is highly resistant to seawater and salt solutions.
Titanium's low density, remarkable strength-to-weight ratio, and unparalleled corrosion resistance deem it an ideal choice for extensive applications. It is particularly effective in resisting stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion in chloride solutions below 70°C. With a melting point of 1660°C, Grade 2 Titanium Plate stands as the preferred alloy for industrial applications requiring excellent ductility and corrosion resistance.
Grade 2 titanium plate, with its lower density, is optimal for scenarios where weight is a critical factor. Industries such as medical, chemical equipment, and aerospace heavily rely on titanium alloys. Its strength and corrosion resistance also make it perfect for marine, chemical processing, and desalination industries. Typical applications for Grade 2 titanium alloys encompass oil and gas components, reaction and pressure vessels, piping systems, power, heat exchangers, linings, flue gas desulfurization systems, and numerous other industrial components. Common standards: ASTM B265, ASTM F67, AMS4911, AMS4928, AMS4943, AMS4944, AMS4945, AMS4967, AMS4972,
Daxun undertakes extensive quality assurance tests, including flattening tests, pitting and resistance tests, mechanical tests, hardness tests, material positive identification, expansion tests, etc. These rigorous evaluations guarantee the material's suitability for its intended applications. Throughout production, we meticulously measure the diameter, thickness, and surface of the product. Our standard delivery period is 5-7 days, with special size products delivered within 15-20 days.
Titanium Grade 2 Plates are offered in cold-rolled thicknesses from 0.3 mm to 6.0 mm and in hot-rolled or heat-treated conditions from 4.76 mm to 155 mm. These plates are produced through longitudinal and transverse rolling and can be supplied in either hot-rolled or heat-treated states. If required, creep flattening can be applied as a heat treatment to relieve internal stresses and meet specific flatness requirements. Plates can be supplied in cut blank forms, allowing parts with complex shapes to be cut from a parent plate. Further processing is tailored to customer specifications, whether mechanical or chemical.
