Our facility boasts 100% ultrasonic testing capabilities, ensuring the highest product integrity. Specifications for hot rolled/hot extruded titanium seamless tubes include: outer diameter ranging from 1.0 mm to 325 mm, wall thickness from 0.3 mm to 50 mm, and lengths up to 12000 mm. For cold rolled titanium seamless tubes, we offer post-heat treatment, surface etching, hydrostatic testing, or ultrasonic inspection as per manufacturing specifications, with outer diameters from 6 mm to 102 mm, wall thickness from 0.5 mm to 20 mm, and lengths up to 9000 mm.

Our seamless and welded titanium tubes exhibit exceptional ductility and cold formability, making them perfect for deep drawing applications. Renowned for their general and seawater corrosion resistance, Grade 1 titanium tubes offer superior resistance to oxidizing, neutral, and slightly reducing environments, including chlorides.
With a low density-approximately half that of nickel-based alloys-titanium boasts high strength, light weight, and remarkable corrosion resistance, making it the ideal choice for various harsh chemical conditions. Our products adhere to standards such as ASTM B338, ASTM B265, ASME SB265, ASTM F67, ISO 5832-2, 3.7025, and UNS R50250.


Grade 2 Titanium Tube (UNS R50400 / Werkstoff WS 3.7034)

Widely used in industrial applications, this titanium tube offers an exceptional balance of moderate strength and excellent ductility. It provides outstanding corrosion resistance in highly oxidizing and slightly reducing environments, including chlorides. Its robust corrosion protection is essential for the chemical and offshore industries, aircraft manufacturing, heat exchangers, hypochlorite systems, fire water systems, ballast water systems, industrial and aerospace components, CPI equipment, and pipelines.

Fabrication

Titanium Grade 2 is highly responsive to cold forming using standard methods. It is easily machinable, provided that sharp tools are used and a liberal amount of coolant is applied. Similar to machining austenitic stainless steels, deep and continuous cuts with slow feeds and speeds are recommended.

Weight Reduction

CP 2 grade titanium tubes, noted for their low density and high strength-to-weight ratio, are ideal for applications requiring weight reduction without compromising strength. These tubes are cold formable, exhibit good ductility, and can be welded using conventional TIG and MIG processes, with inert gas shielding necessary to prevent embrittlement of the weld zone.

Crystal Structure

At room temperature, ASTM B338 Grade 2 titanium tube exhibits an alpha (hexagonal close-packed) crystal structure, like commercially pure titanium grades 1 and 3.
