  • It machines with chip characteristics that are robust and resilient.
  • Utilization of chip breakers and curlers is recommended.
  • Employing large tools and ample cutting fluid is advisable.
  • Heavy positive feeds at low speeds are ideal as 316/316L hardens rapidly during work.
