Grade 5 titanium tubes are the epitome of reliability, extensively utilized across various industries facing harsh and corrosive conditions:
At Daxun, rigorous quality assurance tests are a hallmark of our production. These include flattening tests, flaring tests, ultrasonic flaw detection tests, pitting and resistance tests, mechanical tests, hardness tests, material positive identification, and expansion tests. Each of these ensures that our Grade 1 Titanium Welded Pipe and Grade 1 Titanium Seamless Pipe meet stringent application requirements. Throughout the production process, dimensions such as diameter, thickness, and surface integrity are meticulously measured. Our standard delivery timeline is 5-7 days, while special size products are delivered within 15-20 days.
Ti-6Al4V Grade 5 Titanium Alloy Tube stands out as the most commercially favored titanium alloy due to its exceptional combination of strength and toughness. This grade is characterized by excellent welding and processing capabilities:
We maintain an extensive inventory of Grade 5 Titanium Alloy Seamless Tubes, Forged Seamless Tubes, and Welded Tubes.
As a premier titanium alloy tube manufacturer and supplier in China, Daxun Alloy delivers top-tier Grade 5 titanium pipes globally, garnering acclaim from numerous high-profile projects.
Ti 6Al-4V (Grade 5 Titanium) is the most prevalently used titanium alloy tube, representing over 50% of total titanium consumption. Typically used in its annealed state, it operates at temperatures up to 400°C (750°F). Ti 6Al/4V is welded with matching or ELI filler wire to achieve superior strength. It boasts significantly higher strength than commercially pure titanium tubes and better stiffness and thermal properties (except thermal conductivity). The thermal conductivity of Grade 5 titanium is about 60% lower than CP titanium. Its heat treatability allows for optimized strength and performance. The seamless tubes' advantages include remarkable formability, low density, and excellent corrosion resistance, making them ideal for demanding applications.
This exceptional titanium alloy grade is the epitome of strength, corrosion resistance, weldability, and machinability, making it indispensable across various high-stakes industries. Its superior attributes render it a prime choice in military aircraft, aviation, rocket components, precision-guided systems, armor parts, naval equipment, and military vacuum apparatus, among others. A closely related variant, 6-4ELI, finds extensive use in surgical implants due to its enhanced properties. Designed for optimum performance in applications reaching up to 400°C, this alloy significantly improves ductility and toughness under cold working conditions. Notably, it boasts exceptional specific strength and is typically supplied in an annealed condition, allowing for easy heat treatment to augment its strength for diverse applications. As a versatile titanium alloy, Ti 6Al-4V titanium seamless tube excels at temperatures between -210°C and 400°C. Grade 5 titanium alloy tube stands as the most commercialized variant, celebrated for its robust strength, toughness, and excellent welding and processing capabilities.
