Titanium round bars stand as one of Jiangsu Daxun Alloy Co., Ltd.'s finest titanium products. Notably, the production process for Grade 1 Titanium bars is more mechanized compared to blocks and plates. Our Grade 1 Titanium bars feature over forty distinct grades, with Grade 5, Grade 2, and Grade 1 being the most sought-after. These round bars come in diameters up to 14 inches. Pure Titanium Grade 1 boasts remarkable ductility and excellent cold formability, making it ideal for deep drawing applications. Renowned for its exceptional general and seawater corrosion resistance, as well as durability against oxidizing, neutral, and mildly reducing media like chlorides, Titanium Grade 1 is a superior choice. With a density approximately half that of nickel-based alloys, a high strength-to-weight ratio, and outstanding corrosion resistance, Titanium is perfect for diverse, harsh chemical conditions.
DAXUN® Ti Grade 1 is a commercially pure (CP) titanium bar, distinguished by the following superior characteristics:
At Daxun, we produce high-caliber titanium bars that deliver top-notch performance and can be customized to meet specific client requirements:
Daxun performs extensive quality assurance tests, including mechanical tests like tensile strength, chemical analysis, PMI tests, micro and macro testing, intergranular corrosion (IGC) test, ultrasonic flaw detection, pitting and resistance tests, hardness tests, and expansion tests. These rigorous tests certify that our Grade 2 Titanium Rod and Grade 2 Titanium Round Bar materials meet all application requirements. Throughout production, we meticulously measure the diameter, thickness, and surface finish of each product.

AMS 4928 - Bars, Forgings, and Forging Stock (Annealed)
AMS 4965 - Bars, Forgings (Solution Treated and Aged)
AMS 4967 - Bars, Forgings (Annealed, Heat Treatable)
In the solution-treated and aged condition, rapidly quenching small sections yields optimal properties. However, larger sections and/or delayed quenching may result in less than optimal properties.
Typically, the hardness in the annealed condition ranges from Rockwell C 30-34, and it increases to about Rockwell C 35-39 in the solution treated and aged condition.
Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 alloy bar can be efficiently machined using methods applied to austenitic stainless steel. This involves slow machining speeds, high feeds, and the utilization of rigid tools, alongside substantial use of non-chlorinated cutting fluids to ensure precision and performance.
Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 alloy rod exhibits excellent weldability in both the annealed condition and the solution and partially aged condition, with aging executed during post-weld heat treatment. To prevent contamination from oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen, precautions must be followed meticulously. Fusion welding can be performed within an inert gas-filled chamber or with inert gas shielding the molten metal and nearby heated areas, utilizing a tail shield for added protection. Additionally, spot, seam, and flash welding can be performed without a protective atmosphere.
Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 titanium alloy rod is susceptible to contamination from hydrogen during improper pickling, and from oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon during processes like forging, heat treating, and brazing. Such contamination can lead to a reduction in ductility, negatively impacting notch sensitivity and forming properties.

Table 1 outlines the general corrosion rates for Grade 2 titanium in various media. CP titanium demonstrates excellent corrosion resistance in diverse environments, including:
CP titanium shows excellent resistance to crevice corrosion in salt solutions compared to stainless steels. It will not exhibit crevice corrosion below 80 °C (176°F), regardless of the pH, even under super chlorinated conditions.
Grade 2 titanium exhibits outstanding resistance to stress corrosion (SCC) cracking in hot chloride solutions and remains immune to SCC in seawater.
Titanium showcases exceptional resistance to erosion in flowing conditions.
Experience the unparalleled durability of our Aerospace Grade1 Titanium Rods, even in seawater velocities reaching up to 130 ft/sec (40 m/sec). Remarkably resilient, this material shows negligible effects from both the water and abrasive particles, like sand.
Our Grade1 Titanium Rods exhibit exceptional resistance to hydrogen absorption, even when exposed to seawater at elevated temperatures. Hydrogen absorption only occurs under specific conditions:
Titanium alloys from Jiangsu Daxun Alloy Co., Ltd. proudly exhibit unmatched immunity to all forms of microbiologically influenced corrosion. Despite their lack of toxicity towards marine organisms, which can lead to biofouling in seawater, this can be effectively minimized through chlorination or increased water velocity through heat exchangers.
Unlike many conventional materials, our Grade1 Titanium Rods maintain their fatigue performance in seawater. Fatigue endurance limits and *** growth rates remain consistent, whether tested in air or seawater.
Positioned towards the noble end of the galvanic series near stainless steels, our titanium acts as the cathode when paired with other metals. This characteristic ensures titanium remains unaffected by galvanic corrosion while potentially accelerating corrosion in the other metal. Coupling with noble metals like graphite further enhances titanium's passivity.
Grade 2 Titanium Rod showcases extraordinary resistance to fatigue degradation in seawater. Both fatigue endurance limits and *** growth rates are consistent when tested in air or seawater.
Our CP2 Grade Titanium Rods are highly weldable with the right precautions. Given titanium's reactivity, an inert gas shield must be applied to both the OD and ID of the rod. Furthermore, the rods must be free from any grease or oil contamination.
Grade 2 Titanium Rods are typically welded using manual or automatic TIG welding, with or without filler wire. To minimize the heat-affected zone, low heat input is recommended. Post-weld heat treatment is generally not necessary.
